CarlHalling responded to a discussion called saying 'don't tell anyone' does it really work in friend.
Well, I remember one one occasion as a kid when I was told - by a very kind ansd caring person as it so happens, I mean one who deserved more loyalty - not to tell anyone about something that happened and the first thing I did was announce what happened very loudly in a public place. But these days, if someone tells me "don't tell anyone", and I agree not to (or even if I don't), I would do all...

Interesting list. Oversized suglasses...well I guess this depends on the person wearing them; I imagine it's quite hard to pull this look off, and you're right, sunglasses have the disadvantage of concealing the eyes, one of the most important parts of the body, male or female, in terms of the display of physical beauty. Leggings; I don't know what it is about them, but they never seem to work,...

I was bought an external hard drive by my brother a good few years ago now, and for absolutely ages I didn't use it. In time however, it proved valuable beyond belief, as computers...I'm not sure how many, at least one anyway...crashed. And I was able to recover my files, including photo folders; MP3 folders; writings folders and so on, having stored them on my external hard drive. And thence t...

CarlHalling responded to a discussion called how to find your time back? in life.

It depends, I think. I mean...how important was the plan to your work or studies? If it was very important, well...if it was me I would have explained to my friend something like: "Look, I'm sorry, this is very important, I can help you another day, not today, I'm sorry." I would not worry too much either; my friend would have to understand. But if the plan could wait another day, and was there...

CarlHalling responded to a discussion called Praying for someone, other than family and friends... in prayer.

Yes I do. Often, if I read about someone in the news who is somehow in trouble or danger; or might be, I will pray for them. As I recall, I've also prayed for people I don't know...spontaneously...like in the street or wherever. I'm sure I've done this.

Thanks, chipesterkhan, I've had some minor success, and disappointments too but all in all, I feel very blessed. And I'm hopeful for the future.

Does success in life make a person sweeter or more bitter?

Well; some successful people seem remarkably sweet, don't they. They are so generous with their charm, smiles, finance and so on. I've met some famous people for example who have been incredibly...

What makes an actor charismatic?

What is that extra ingredient that makes a Brad Pitt or a Tom Cruise or a George Clooney, that superstar charisma? Or is there no such thing and it's just good luck and good lighting that makes a...

Do You Think Older People Should Dress Their Age or "Young"?

Older people dress in all sorts of ways. But I've noticed two distinct type of older guy. You get the older guy who may have been as wild as they come in his youth, but who favours a classical look...

Is it possible to love family even though you don't see them for a long time?

My reply is: Of course. I mean: we all do this to a degree. I have family members I love I've not seen for a long time (sometimes a very long time). But then, what is a long time? For some, not...

What would you do if you got a sudden maddening rash?

Many of us get them; especially in hot weather. For those who play sports it can be an occupational hazard, those maddening, red, itchy patches, sometimes in the most embarassing places. What would...

Praying for someone, other than family and friends...

Have you sometimes felt the need to say a little prayer for someone who is not really very close to you?
I have, actually been trying to keep people in my prayers, and it has helped me more than...

I already get why most producers prefers untalented singers

For sure its frustrating that less talented singers are invading the charts while most of the talented ones were left behind, Why do those producers prefer inferior singers. Its a sad truth but a lot...
