How do you feel if your best friend could be your life partner?

Hi,I had this question on my mind since quite some time.I have asked a few friends of mine too.Some say that friendship is different from commitment and should not be messed up with each other while some others say why not.I feel that any person would want his or her life partner to understand them completely and be a step ahead of us in expecting in what we would be thinking.And best friend could easily fit in that role.So why not?It would be nice to know your view on this too...

I feel like my best friend is my life partner. My boyfriend is amazing and I can talk to him about anything, even if it is about him. We are open with each and talk everything through. He does know what I am thinking and sometimes it is a good thing. I can just look at him and he knows, and the same goes for me. I know what he thinks as well.

I agree, In fact best friend is just perfect for becoming a life partner, He knows most of the things about you, and you know everything about him, You are best friends , so it also proves that you are also having good understanding with each other.
I believe many life partners start their relationship first as friends, and then it matures to love and life partnership
