I skipped a day in mylot for the very reason that i was so preoccupied yesterday. I didn't even work either. Why? Yesterday i had to go early to my son's school as they had a presentation. Then after which my husband and i headed for the bank for the quotation of the car we are buying soon. Actually I had scheduled Wednesday to be the day i'm going to get my first tattoo but my husband had to go somewhere so we had it moved to Thursday. I was really so excited and upon arriving at the tattoo shop, we were too early it was still close. Good thing that my husband had the mobile number of the artist and he immediately came to attend to me. My husband and i planned to have our tattoos done together but there was only one artist so i went first. I expected it to hurt as hell but to my surprise it didn't! So now i'm sporting a hummingbird tattoo on my right shoulder blade and it's really so beautiful. I'm so proud of it and no, there was no pain at all.

I've been toying with the idea of getting ink on me. My only problem is I could never decide on what design to pick. I've seen the shows on TV, and I've heard all their stories on what their tats symbolizes. I just couldn't think of one that would be as symbolic to me. I know that there will come a time that I'll regret what I have.

Until that day would come, don't get a tattoo. It's something that's there for a lifetime and it's something that you wouldn't want to regret. So getting a tattoo really entails a lot of thinking. Other's even pray before getting one just to know if they really ought to get inked or not.

My husband and i are not into a couple thing! He got a totally different tattoo from me and he's got several tattoos already. What he had done yesterday was a cover up for the old ugly tattoo that he had on his leg and ankle. To answer why i got a hummingbird, here it is: Hummingbird is a symbol for accomplishing that which seems impossible. Hummingbird will teach you how to find the miracle of joyful living from your own life circumstances.

Hi Toni! It is nice to hear that you got to fulfill your desire of having a hummingbird tattoo bird on your body. (Cannot we see its picture?)I also feel scared to get an tattoo engraved on my body, thinking that it might be painful.

I have posted two pics already. You haven't seen them? Men have low tolerance for pain compared to women. It wasn't painful at all on my part. Just find a good artist, condition your mind that indeed it's gonna be painful and just relax. It took me months to find a good artist with a good machine, skill and is using an organic ink.

How come you did not feel the pain, did they inject you anesthesia? because i see the swelling side and i feel the pain...:), ir it's just because needle is not my friend, one time i went into a salon where they offer a lip tattoo, Oh, My Gosh, while I watch the lady tolerating the pain, I feel I am the one who is being hurt..and i cried hahhha...

NO anesthesia at all. Anesthesia is not advised in getting a tattoo. I had a very good artist and the back part of your body is actually the best part to get a tattoo with less pain.
