Friend you know unequal ratio of male and female in India. This unequal ratio may be cause of rape cases that are increasing day by day.
In India old people says someone is definitely made for you means God made pairs in heaven. But when I saw the difference between male and female I surprised.
I think God should make a rule that every couple had one male and one female baby. So after that the ratio get settled. I know it is not possible but if it happen then at least rape cases will decrease. I hate those people who raped to those innocent girls.
What you think how we can protect female child. Share your thoughts.

Friend I think unequal ratio is not reason of increasing rape cases rape cases are increasing because TV channel or lots movies which shows danger mature content. Short dresses is also responsible for rape cases and Govt should give the punishment of hanging for raspiest so rape cases can decrease. But yes due to this ratio effects of marriage because if girls are less and boys are more then more boys will be unmarried.

I think that traditional ideas in India must change. Then baby girls will be wanted the same amount as baby boys. Mother nature has a clever way to make it around 50% boys and 50% girls but then human interfere with this. I know that gender determination in pregnancy in India is illegal. Yet many couples do find out which gender baby they are expecting. I wonder if some people abort an girl baby or get rid of her. I think attacking a female is very wrong and the man should be jailed for life. I wish every couple had a baby girl and a baby boy plus valued both equally.

"This unequal ratio may be cause of rape cases" - that is, quite simply, the most patently ridiculous statement I have seen in a long time. Rape has absolutely nothing to do with how many men or women are around or the ratio: it has everything to do with aggression, control, domination and misogyny.

hi friend ,your view is very true but my view is it may be small reason of this problem,because in our India ,marriage is very important aspect .and unmarried people get frustrated and disturb.and they attempt this type of disgusting work.and after this,if you feel my discussion is wrong so I an sorry for that..........

That's like saying "blonde hair is a cause of murder" because some people don't like it and it annoys them, so they are pushed to killing. It's ridiculous.
There is NO excuse for rape, no matter what nonsense rapists claim. No, women are not to blame. No, the fact that they can't find a girl isn't to blame (ever heard of using your right arm?). No, the fact that marriage is important in India isn't to blame (ever heard of denying tradition and living your own life?).
The only person to blame for rape is the evil scumbag who does it. And there is NEVER a valid excuse. Cut their bits and bobs off, I say.
(And by the way, just because we disagree doesn't mean this isn't a good discussion and there's no need to be sorry! Sometimes the best debates are the ones where people can't agree!!

Well unequal ratio of male and female is a serious problem. However, I tend to think that it's people's own fault, cause I've read an article in a newspaper, where they said that in India boys are more favored children than girls. Boys can help their parents with hard work, girls require lots of funds and resources when getting married etc. So boys are more profitable to have for the family. That's why many abortions are made when the families are going to have a girl. I think that families should let the girls born, so the inequality can be solved.

Dear dada,your view is very right ,but my view is that so many man are unmarried and they got frustrated and disturbed with this situation.so they attempt this type of disgusting work.it might be a small reason.if you dislike my view sorry....

Punishment for rape should be severe as victim of this crime is scared for life. Also if the society doesn't do anything to stop it like condemning such of crimes and government doesn't do anything to change the situation it means there is agreement of the people to such this happen and this is truly sad.

According to you, the unequal ratio of men and women may contribute to rape in India, so what is the "EQUAL" ratio that will not contribute to rape crime in India. It may sound silly to every thinking mind, how the heck in the world can the ratio between men and women has to do with rape, the rapist doesn't go out commit a rape because there is more men in India or there is more women in India or "unequal" ratio, it is indeed quite laughable the way you put it..... You are a real genius.
