Windows 7 compatibility.

Hello Mylotters, I just tried to install nero 7 essentials on Windows 7 but it shows compatibility error.
Is there any version of nero that is compatible with windows 7?

According to Nero official website, Nero 7 has not been tested to meet all of the technical requirements to be compatible with Windows 7. Nero Multimedia Suite 10 has passed Microsoft-designed tests for compatibility and reliability on PCs running the Windows 7 operating system. You are suggested to make an upgrade to Nero Multimedia Suite 10.

Don't know for that particular program, but you must look and see if the warning comes from Nero itself or it's Windows who alerts you. If it's Windows, you most likely can ignore the message and the program will run like always. Those messages are nothing more than annoyances to the users to encourage to buy the latest versions of programs.
If it really presents some compatibility issue, you can try the compatibility modes. WinXP or Win98 often solves most of those problems Win7 has created.
