well, i love watching movies (specially during the time when i had extra time)... then one time i tried watching UNDERWORLD, then i was impressed with the fine details and accurate portrayal of the details about vampires and werewolves (lycans), like how quite vampires walk, how they read the memories of others, how they jump from a very tall building and so... then after watching that movie, i dreamed to become a vampire LOL... but honestly that's true... i just told myself, what would it be if i could be immortal, if i could seduced someone that fast etc... well, my concern is, have you experience the same thing or felt the same thing (after watching a movie)? do you think it is normal or could be a mild insanity (considering my age that im already 20 years old when i watched that)? PS: have you watched this movie?

welcome daryl. i've seen this movie, and i liked it. however, it's been long before that movie that i was into this genre. my interest in vampires started with anne rice's queen of the damned. it was in these movie that i was introduced to goth. i digged for more anne rice books, knew all other characters, and seen the movie adaptations. from then on, i was into stoker's dracula, shelley's frankenstein, leroux's phantom of the opera, polidori's vampire (this was thought to be the beginning of the genre)and music that are gothic in nature, e.g. smashing pumpkins, late isabel, and even korn. though the underworld series is quite good, i loathe some vampire movies and books that are just using the genre without even understanding it. and i hope you aren't the type who could be moved by meyer.

i hate twilight series... the story is not actually about vampires nor werewolves, it is more about love and the things in between... correct me if im wrong, i had heard that meyer had just a dream about the story then wrote it in a book... i wonder how long she had been sleeping or was she in comatose when she dreamed about this vampire love story thing? and i guess. meyer had watched the underworld before she made the book since most of the things that is featured in the movie is somehow similar with the story of underworld... i only saw the first part of twilight (since my sister forced to watched it) but i didn't appreciate it that much since the acting is not good, the casts don't fit with the characters, the cinematography is not impressive and i can't observe any efforts in placing special effects... BTW, i don't like vampire and werewolves story though, that was the first time when i appreciate a movie after watching UNDERWORLDS... but i saw one movie before, i am not sure if the title is DRACULA, it is a comedy/funny story about dracula, a very old movie televised in HBO... with regards to book, i am not a fan of books, i love movies that books lol...

i didn't know whether meyer dreamed it or not. neither would i care. lol. well, there are so many movies out there with a vampire theme. and yes, even comedy. i have watched many of it. and if you are into classic films, try looking for nosferatu. never seen a full movie of it, though. but i liked what i saw in those rare glimpses. i'm still in the process of looking for a downloadable file. oh, and did i mention that it was believed that pollidori's "the vampyre" started the vampire genre? read that somewhere.

You have no idea how many people I've met who have said the same thing. I am a horror film fan, so we chat about these things online. Many people saw this film and wanted to be the vampire, some saw themselves as lycans. Interesting!

I loved the Underworld movies. Actually pretty much any vampire movie I love, however, I have never dreamed about becoming a vampire. But I do not believe that is a sign of mild insanity. Its just a sign that you enjoyed the movie thoroughly enough to dream about it which is a very good thing. While being immortal may be cool, humans were not meant to live forever and I would have big issues emotionally "out living" all of my loved ones.

Watched the Rise of the Lycans. Decent movies, but people who want to be vampires are not very smart. You can't be one, so stop being obsessed with them...

I have watched the movie including all of the sequels, I did like it but its branded as fiction on my head and its not as much as I liked Oceans 11, if being a thief was as cool as depicted in the movie, I'd surely become one. Scary part of it is that reality bites and stealing can land you years in jail. Its very enjoyable to watch though.
