I have a husband and 3 daughters, 11, 9, and 4 and ALL 5 of us put up stockings for Santa! I think thats one of the greatest traditions, in our home Santa puts peanuts(in shells), and orange and Candies in it, along with a few little toys! My kids look to their stockings before the presents even!
stormeetigress responded to a discussion called Do you have a special day for the major house cleaning?. 1 week agoGrowing up my mom always had us do the housework as a family Saturdays, each kid got a room to do. I don't really have a day set aside, I just kinda do bits and pieces throughout the week, but I try to do the carpets on Saturdays so if I need to I can shampoo and then we can spend the day out and not have to worry about being home for kids to get home from school etc!

I like watching the movies because its nice to put faces and voices and characteristics to the characters! But, I also enjoyed the books very much, there were details in the books that weren't in the movies, due to the fact that they can only put so much stuff in the 2 hours or so of a movie!

She and I went to Twilight the Tuesday after it was released and we went to the DVD release party at a store. As we will do when New Moon is out on DVD. I'm so happy be won't have to wait a year to see Eclipse, as it is due for release at theaters in June or July of 2010!
