American economy is a real wake up call.

Is it just me, or is not about time that America woke up to the fact that there is a GLOBAL crisis regarding money.
This is affecting everyone, everywhere.
I'm not having a dig at America, but it really is about time they realised that bigger is not always better.
Anyone else share my views or disagree or even have there own views on the topic.

haddowz I have no idea where you live but knock off hitting on my country. America as we have enough @#$#$$%%^^^^#%^^&&&&economic trouble with out being bashed by those who do not even know what our own problems are but just think they do. We already have given way too many handouts to all other countries in need, now we have to try to save our own economy here.We are well aware we are in deep financial trouble and need no other countries to tell us that or what we did or did not do that was all wrong. here in mylot we should not be dissing each others countries. this is not playing fair at all.In other words quit the kicking us while we are down that is not kosher and not at all helpful to anyone

If you both had read my comments properly then you would have read the part that says 'i am not having a dig'.
Which basically means the subject was aa general view of what is happening in the worlds economy.
There was no offence meant or directed at an Americans.

I'm an american and I think from the 80's to 2006 people were spending like it was ok. They had to have all of these material stuff and then charged everything on credit cards. This is the biggest problem I believe, people having credit cards and not knowing their limit. They want things yesterday that they can't afford, such as, the bigger house, the most expensive car, the bigger TV etc....! Until people learn to bucket down their spending and using only cash we will continue having financial problems. I got out of the rat race just in time. Thankfully my house is paid off and I have no credit card debt. I have downsized considerable and have no regrets. I realized along time ago having the latest technical gadget is not necessary at all. Yes, I have been blessed and just wish people would learn to realize that having bigger is not better.

O blame this prez we have HE spends to much on vacations partys adn giving money to other countries instead of putting jobs back in AMerica.
and its so funny when they say they have a vote comng up and the closer it gets to the wire staock marget falls when over the stock market goes up again.
I know other prez spent but he has spent more since he been in there than most of the others spent in thier term
