Musical Anime

I just recently came across with this type of anime genre. I recently watched Nodame Cantabile and Golden Chord which are into musical. I never thought that I will like this type of anime. Can you recommend any good musical anime?

I know of only Nodame Cantabile, but what I watched was the live action. Is there a Nodame Cantabile in anime too?

Oh yeah, Beck is also a musical anime. I've watched that too. The story is somewhat boring, but the music's good.
There was another musical anime my sister watched but I haven't. She just mentioned it to me. Something about the band named Nana. Beautiful songs, the story line is good too.
Maybe someone else more knowledgeable could identify it for us? Or I'll just ask my sister.

Hi swirlz! Yes there is a Nodame Cantabile anime. Season 1, Paris-hen and Season Finale. I haven't watch the live action but I'm looking forward to watch it. I'll try to check Beck and Nana, thanks for sharing.

Nodame Cantible isn't really a musical, musicals are where people sing songs. This anime is just about music, classical music to be precise.. I love this too. I saw the live action and all the movies too. 
La Corda D'oro is a good one I hear, maybe you'd like Mermaid Melody.. Beethoven Virus is a good series, not anime about music too. So far, NC is the best for me.

For me, if the anime is all about music, I can consider it a musical anime already. I might got the wrong definition there but I think some anime fanatic got what I mean. Nodame Cantabile is indeed one of the best anime for me. Even though the story is light, there are no boring moments for me.

Nodame Cantabile is one of the best anime. K-On is another musical anime that you might like. Skipbeat is not musical, more into acting stuffs.

I haven't watch K-On, is it like the all girl band? I think I have seen that anime once in Animax. Well thanks for sharing that. I do agree that Nodame Cantabile is really good.

The only musical anime I've seen are Nodame Cantabile and La Corda D' Oro :D I love these two anime because they concentrated on classical music. When it comes to band music, there's K-On!, BECK and Nana :D

Although the story is not as good the manga, Beck still offers a powerful soundtrack that compliments both the Manga and the Anime. You should really watch the Mongolian Chop Squad's best hits and while you're at it, read the manga too.

There are anime musicals...Shut...up... There's a combination I never thought I'd see. I'll check these out when I get the chance.
