Friends, particularly to the Filipino Mylotters, if for example, you have a family here and a good stable job, would you still seek employment outside the country?

If the family were dependent on me, no. If they weren't, yes (if the overseas job was really funky and interesting). I wouldn't want to move my entire family but, if it were just me or me and my lady (and she wanted to go), then I don't see why not.

Exactly. That's why I wouldn't go - unless the entire family was up for it. I'd rather stick with a good job locally than disrupt schooling and everything else just so I could work overseas. Their need would be greater than mine.

It depends on how you would define a good stable job. If that good stable job would support the whole family needs and your contented on what you have right now I think there is no need for you to seek outside the country. Filipinos has this closed family ties so it is really hard for them to left their family.

Provided that I can bring my family why not. But if I cannot bring along my family with me,I rather stay here and be with them, anyway I have a good and stable job. Keeping the family together is very important,so,I should be contented for what we have than going somewhere and leaving my family behind. have a good day jaiho®

I see, but it depends. But I'm not yet ready to work outside of country. That will take awhile.
