Blogging & Advertising how to do it best?

So I make custom jewelry and not sure what is the best way to get my blog out there so others and see on the web. I started with craigslist but looking for other ways to make my blog have more traffic to turn into likes on facebook and to turn into a striving business so I can make some extra money. I'm not sure what the blog is lacking so far I've been getting maybe a hit a day but no sales from it. And I didn't receive any likes on facebook but one so far. Please help me out I definately need input! My blog is SimplyDazzlingShoppe.blogspot.com (really not sure if I should put this here but this is the site I'm speaking about for the input). So if you can please tell me how I can improve my site and some great ways I can advertise and get my name out there a bit more. Thanks!

Hello neededhope. I'm sorry I don't have any advice for you. But I came to this post because like you, I've also recently launched an online retail store. I was hoping that the responses in here could also give me ideas on how to promote my site. Anyway, not really sure about blogspot. I launched mine on webs.com, and it looks more 'professional-looking' than the ones on blogspot.

Have you tried with SEO articles? By doing a video offering your products could help too. This video can you post in youtube. I've just seen your blog and the photos are not good. You need to take new photos, but much better. The types (fonts) need to be changed. On the titles can you use the current font, but on the body text you should change by a font named as avant-garde-light or helvetica-light. The pink background color shold be changed for another pink, not so primary color, maybe can you try with a gradient. Flowers are OK. Finally I think to earn money online is a hard work and needing of patient. Have a nice day!
