Wanted dishes or dishes and foods which are suitable when you go camping for the weekend. Please no answers like canned soup, barbecue. (That's clear) We have no refrigeration, except for a cool bag;. A camping gas stove and pot and two disposable barbecues. No power! What can you take for breakfast, which does not spoil quickly? What side dishes for grilled meats or other foods? Tested preparations and snacks in between? How can you keep good cold drinks?

If you will bring ice box with you then you can bring meat and fish so you can grill it for later, but if not, maybe some fried fish, noodles, and bread is good to bring in camping because it don't spoil easily.

for breakfast, I like dried fish. You can fry that. Or buy the one that is bottled with olive oil. It really taste good. I also prefer salted eggs with tomato. Earlier, I was eating sun dry mangoes. Why don't you bring some.

baked beans are lovely done over a camp fire, and you can really make a good meal of them. you could add a tin of tomatoes and some curry paste, that's something we have quite often in our home. on toast or a jacket potato it's really good. you could also have them with smoked bacon, so the flavour infuses through. really good.

you can also bring vegetables to grill to go with your grilled meats like corn and zucchini. can of baked beans is easy to reheat and would go well with a bag of nacho chips. you can also bring marshmallows.

Hard-boiled eggs keep without refrigeration, jam, honey, and if you want to have something tasty in between, then you buy land hunters and roast them over an open fire on a stick, two cents and bread, as much as you can supertan treatment not at all like you out because of hand be torn! Vacuum-packed sausages, in any form, kept without refrigeration, specifically when they are lightly smoked and you can also make the water hot. There are many things, but you said yes, and weekends I do not think you want to take like three pounds!

WE take ice in the esky and milk will usually keep overnight in ice. You can take uht or powdered milk, if you need milk. Eggs and tomatoes are good side dishes for meat for brekky that can be cooked quickly on a barbeque or fry pan on the gas stove and are easy to store before hand. The 2nd last time we went camping we had pancakes for brekky, as you can get a prepared pancake mix that you can just add water or milk to, then they are easy to cook on a barbecue or pan on the gas stove. Porridge is also good - as it is easy to store dried oats until cooking with water and it can feed a few people. You can take lots of fresh vegetables and fruit - as they can be kept in their skins for easy storage. You can have a fresh fruit platter as well as pancakes for brekky - to make it healthier, and a fruit salad for desert at dinner/tea. YOu can also make a salad to serve along your food cooked on the barbecue for lunch and dinner with the fresh vegetables - and you can also make sandwiches. To keep drinks cold, you can pre-freeze them before you go, so they can be used in your esky/cool bag to keep other things cold, as well as keeping the drinks cold until you are ready to drink them.
