I wanted to just put a discussion out there today, but i said to myself "self. You should do a search first." I'm new but I'm learning. how to use myLot better. Be patient. I'm gonna stick around. Some of you guys have post like 3765 or 14753, welll you guys have been around awhile. I'm a relatively intelligent fellow. I know you see people come in and start an account. They ask a bunch of ?'s and in a couple of months there gone and new people are starting all the time. So. how long do most people stay at myLot? You vets that watch, You know how long people stay... Tell me please. I plan on being here for a more than the average, someday I wanna be Veteran. I'll try not to make your lives too difficult in the meantime. Thanks for listening Flash2

Hi there, I am a member for a little over a year. Though very active at some point I may lesson my time here but will always be a member here as long as myLot permits me too. I have made some really great friends here and would not want to go away and not interact somehow with the many of them. I have noticed during my time that some new members do not stay long enough as they really do not take the time to learn the site and leave. Many of the ole timers have been inactive as perhaps offline life has kept them very busy and or for other reasons. I find it exciting to see 5 year members return back sometimes as it is great to see that many still value the site. I do hope you too stay around for a long time.

I can see that even in a year you've been very hard working here with 23000. that seems like an awful lot. thanks

I have no stats, but I think that 90% of the new members don't stay here more than a few days. The others can stay at myLot during years with the same user name, when they don't choose to cancel their account and to open another one -- all new members are not so "new" --. Be careful : you can make an addiction to myLot.

i would say i am a veteran. not because i've been here long, simply just because i'm awesome :) no i joke. i've seen people come and go already and i've not been here long either.. some people get bored because you dont earn a fortune quickly. i am very proud of your reading and searching than posting a discussion.. its become a sore point for a lot of mylotters haha

they probably won't .. i don't think it's through laziness that they don't read the FAQ's.. i actually think it's through monetary desire that they post a discussion.. x

Hello Flash, I am 3 months old on MYLOT. I love this site and normally my day don't get completed till i once get log in to MYLOT. But i can't say how much is the average time period for which they stay on MYLOT.It depends on them there are some who comes and join MYLOT to earn lot of money but when they start their activity and see their earnings they don't come back again. There are people like me who want to have fun so they stay longer on this site. And it depends on you in which category you fall. may you stay longer and have fun always on MYLOT.

hiflash well I am retired and started here in 2007 and now am leading in fact in points. I have the time so thats mainly why I am in the lead. You sound like you will be a great mylotter too. I think the average time may be about two or three years with some here from the start. I am on my fourth year here as I needed something to do that would make me feel useful. I worked in our local library for 23 years and was let go because I was almost 80 well they were fired for that injustice but I while I was asked to return they waited a tad too long. I was in the hospital with a fractured shoulder with shoulder joint replacement so no more working for me. thus I am mylotting a lot.I am 84 going on 85 on nov.15.welcome to mylot Flash 2. do check out the guidelines and the discussion rules and the qs and as as they really help in learning about mylot. I am wondering what the average stay here wou ld be as some leave in a few days mostly because they refused to read the mylot information that would answer all the many questions they have. they broke all the rules of discussions so had their discussions deleted, they got mad at mylot when its really their own fault for not reading the information that mylot has for them. I know some think I am awful for suggesting they read the information for themselves but why is that awful? I was trying to help and share my own experience here. lol.

I was addicted to mylot in the beginning, some three years ago, I suppose. You can see that on the Profile. Lately though, I log in only when I have some real free time. I guess many mylotters had really made profit on this site, but I am one of those who are in for the pleasure of writing and corresponding. That means, I am not earning much. I do hope you do better Flash.
