Hello there Well, am semi-back again since I was able to put my computer away from the television which was originally set in the living room. Now, i've transfer it back in my room. for now, it's working again. but before that I called my brother and asked what can be done aside from him reformatting it. for the moment my PC is back online, that was fast(for now) He asked me to removed powesupply of my two fans, cd-rom and the added 40gb harddisk. then, i punch it on again. it worked longer and it hanged again. after the second restart, it's holding on. it seems that my pc can't take anymore devices and for now, am avoiding going through other applications but it seems to be ok in mylot or any other social site.. But still am going to have this PC reformat and start saving for the New Desktop. * I should have had Info-tech course (way back2000) instead of going back to my old alma matter that really sucks.*.

I know what you mean. I hope you get you a new computer soon. I hate computer problems. I have had my fair share of those problems over the years.

Hi.LK. programming does not help in making you expert in repairing computers! Computer technician course is the one you ought to go for. Here they call it training in hardware. For this you should have the right aptitude too. I am sure you have it and you will learn the computer anatomy and diagnose the problems and rectify them yourself soon. All the best.

If it's a Vista or a 7, you might be able to recover it. You can either System Restore it, or if you have a recovery partition or the original disk you installed your operating system with, you could probably have a go at Start Up Repair. If your PC really is bang-dang gone, then have fun smashing it. :i

Hello Dymo75, Unfortunately my friend, my Operating system is nothing more than just plain Linux 10.4 and it's really cool to use. but unfortunately, there's no game to this operating system. unfortunately,I love my PC because it was my dad who financed to buy it and it's really something I love to use. have a nice day.

At least, you have a goal. That's good. But, you have to have a quick saving measures before your PC would totally crash. It is still vulnerable. Hope you can easily reach your goal and buy your new desktop. God Luck bro and my wishes!

Sorry for your desktop computer LetranKnight. It seems that you over worked it already doing a lot of myLotting in there! Just buy yourself a laptop instead of a desktop. Laptops are better electricity savers than those desktop computers plus you can try to myLot anywhere with wifi. We also have a similar problem with our desktop computer in our home. We just gave up adding memory and cleaning files here and there. Same as your problem, it really hangs on us. We also formatted and tried a different operating system to it but to no avail. I think the parts have been already over used up and is only trying to hold on. I think scratches and damages in the motherboard, video card or memory cards are the root cause of the problem. Well, I just got myself a laptop back then and it saves me a lot of stressful times dealing with the hanging issues of our desktop computer!

Hello Agent Gulaman, I have always overworked my pc but i guess this is something i should lessen from now on because it's not doing well for my PC. unfortunately there is a affordable desktop that is located in MOA and it's PC gilmore, not only that it's new but i can buy at a least price, which has lessened a few days ago, they still have it though i just need to save. but if they run out of stock i might consider looking else where.have a nice day.

like you sometimes I have problem also with my computer and need some reformatting too, its mostly because I downloaded a programs or something I did that made some files corrupted, but I'm lucky because one of my friend knows his way on computer problem like that. and regarding to info-tech course, just go ahead if that's what you really want, especially nowadays computer related knowledge is so in demand.

Hello flowerfest328, the problem is that i don't have an extended hard disk and my dvd drive seems to be not good for the use of my Desktop. I believe it's too late now because I need money to do other things besides purchasing a new computer of sorts. have a nice day.

It sounds like you need a new up to date computer. The one you have doesnt sound like its worth the trouble anymore. We have an old desktop too, but i have a laptop now because the other was sooo old.

Hello Chicky, Yes, it's not that this computer is not worth the trouble, it's still working. it's just that we can't afford to have this PC loose now because I got other things to do with mylotting and i can't leave a response behind. That's why i prefer the desktop because i know it's not going to let me down for some reason. have a nice day.
