I used to go gym before. I searched for a program that will suit for my body of what i want to be looked like where i could GAINED muscles in my bicep, tricep, back, shoulder, to upper and lower body and abs until i found one. I just have a problem of that certain program. He don't mentioned the day of when i should do that routine program and rest day. I just make my own self. I asked for other who go to gym too. But they said everyday. I wonder if I do that? How come my muscle will be able to rest to develop itself. I found an article said that we should go to gym every other day. Is it true? Do you go to gym too? what kind of program do you do? and when do you rest? how do you do it? have you had a body that you really wanted to be? how long did it take before you had that kind of buff and good body how about the diet and rest? Please share it to us. thanks :(

Its been 3month am going to gym daily morning and do workout about 2 or 3 hrs, at first i was way too week to even perform weights, then later on i feel the weights are lighter day by day, this shows improvement in my physical self am confident if i keep up it would be good for health, and am showing signs of muscle too when compared with old my self, i think the rest we give our body for 8hrs while sleeping is more than enough, but the think is that when you go for gym you should never try to bunk a single day or even leave gym, later you can feel the change body gets weaker and yea muscles get saggy and all that i have had experience then onward i continue going, except for sundays. and so far am not interested in buffing up body like arnold or people like wrestlers all i need is a strong and fast body and i concentrate on all parts of my body not only biceps and chest alone. thats all if anyway doubt ask.

"i think the rest we give our body for 8hrs while sleeping is more than enough," Er - no? I trained as a gym/fitness teacher, and the biology of it dictates that when we train our muscles to the max, they undergo tiny tears in the fibres, which must be repaired. The repairs are designed so the same thing doesn't happen again, so more protein is packed in and more capillaries grown. This makes the muscles hypertrophy which isn't a gold cup bodybuilding prize but a name for getting bigger and stronger. This all takes time, and if you retrain the muscle during that time you risk injury, illness and atrophied muscles, i.e. they get smaller and weaker. From the sound of it, you are BOTH overtraining! Olympic athletes have no choice, but by golly they suffer for it.

you mean to say to give one day break after each and every workout likewise. Well the reason why i goes to gym daily is that i dont want to break the routine and even lose that momentum of power to take weights.
