With so many other social networks, why did you choose Facebook? Do you have a fan page? Has Facebook helped you advertise your business, book, short stories or whatever it is you are networking for? If you have a huge following, tell us your secrets.

Hello there. I use facebook to connect and be updated with acquiantances, friends and relatives. Facebook had helped me sell some baby dresses that I sell there. My account there is set to private. I don't add people that I don't know.. I do have twitter but I use it for posting all my thoughts within the day

Yeah, it's a great way to get the word out for your business. Why did you set yourself to private. Don't you want the world to know you make baby dresses?? Just a thought.

There's so many options for us to keep in touch with family and friends. As long as it's free, right? Can't complain about that.

Thanks to Facebook, old classmates, dorm mates, school mates, friends and relatives have been reunited. Imagine, most of the reunions i have been attending are all because of the Facebook connection. Indeed, it has made the world so small nowadays.

I chose Facebook because most of my friends are there. :) There are also a lot of online shops on Facebook that sell things I like for a very reasonable price, sooo Facebook is basically a one-stop community for me. :D

I have two or three earning or business type things that required facebook. I almost never go there, and it does not really do much for me. I may not use it effectively.

I am on Facebook because I like the games and apps, and can keep up with most of my family, since they are all on the site too.

Oh those games . . . too addicting. I get so many requests, my brain is all twisty. Can't keep my farms and cafes all in a row.

I chose facebook because there are so many people there it is a great way to connect with people and for fan pages, to spread the word... there may be other pages that work also, but I have found that it is easier to keep up when I use just one, and that people like it better with frequent updates rather than once in a great while. they get bored and lose interest and forget all about it if they don't hear anything for a while.

I am on facebook. I was invited by a friends a few years ago.. I invited a few and now I have over 2600 friends.. I do also have a fan page for my "business" which is my Zazzle page. I call it Collie Love. I have quite a few followers there. but whether or not it has actually helped pull in any sales... I don't think so. but I am sure it doesn't hurt.

I think that there are lots of sites where you get to see photos and chat to all of ya friends, facebook seems to be the main place where people are members.I joined the site to get to chat to family as well as share photos with them as it is easy to do as well as do not cost anything at all.

I'm on Facebook mainly to communicate with my friends. I have friends that have gone to other countries so it's only essential to create a Facebook account to communicate with them.

Absolutely. Keeping in touch with friends who are overseas is easy with Facebook. I have family in Australia, Holland and all over the USA. Keeping in touch on networks like Facebook keeps us all together. Great to share photos too. Have an awesome day.

Facebook is the best social network. I am on facebook not for business but for keeping myself connected to my friends and families. It really keeps us connected and keeps is updated about our friends. Facebook provides better security and privacy to our account. Yes if we want, we can make money with facebook too.

It definitely is the place to keep connected to friends and family. I like the security on Facebook. Having said that, I change my password a lot. That seems to keep the hackers away.

It certainly is a great way to stay in touch with family. My family lives in Australia, Holland and the USA. So staying in touch for free is pretty cool.
