Dear Cathzuya, Yes this is the number of posts on MYLOT discussions. And no doubt you might have posted more than 100 posts. When you respond to the discussion this (...) increases by 1 but when you comment once again on the same discussion this will not increase.Similar in the case with the discussion you start. This increase only once to the discussion when you respond for the first time and don't when you further respond or comment on it. Sometimes when your response violates guidelines of MYLOT or it is under the discussion which violate guidelines and get deleted then (...) decreases as your response is deleted. (....) in MYLOT language it is called rating of the user.

Thats what i said Owlwings but the terminology i used was different it should be activity rating. Only once your rating increases when you respond to the discussion further comments/response on same discussion won't effect on the rating.

The number by your name is your User Rating or Activity Rating. It is NOT a strict post count because it only takes into account the first response or comment you make in any one discussion and only counts your discussion when it has received at least two responses or a response and a comment. It's important to realise, however, that even if your User Rating does not increase every time you post, ALL of your activity is included in the earnings calculation. Your profile says (at the moment) that you have started 22 discussions and responded to 45. That is only 67 but your User Rating is currently 68, so at least one comment must have been taken into account. Also, you may have posted in discussions which were deleted or had some of your discussions deleted. In that case, your User Rating will decrease (and so will your earnings). All of this is explained in the FAQs under User Rating and Earnings.
