There's a lot of slimming tea and coffee available on the market today. They claim that they are all natural and safe to drink since they're organic. I am however hearing rumors that these "Natural" slimming drinks are hazardous for the health. My friend told me that he knew someone who got sever gastroenteritis because of the drinks, my cousin also had a bad experience with them. Are these types of drinks really effective and safe? Have you tried any of them?

Just because it's natural doesn't mean it's safe for everyone. I think a lot has to do with your overall health, but there are times when you shouldn't use a natural product, just like when you shouldn't use another medicine. For instance, those with kidney disease shouldn't drink teas or any other kinds of drinks that have high caffeine content. Those who are blood thinners or have a disease that keeps their blood from clotting shouldn't take aspirin. Also, remember that for these teas and coffees to work, they have to be strong and that can upset your system even if it doesn't cause damage like internal bleeding.

I agree with you, people with complications shouldn't even start taking these types of drinks. It might do more than to their system than do good. It would be best to think about their well being first than how they look. Exercise and proper diet is still the best wa to go.

Yes, I did see slimming tea packs at the Asian markets in the city. I have not tried that, and I have no idea how helpful that is for slimming. But, I am a green tea drinker, and do believe in the herbal value of green tea. It helps in keeping the blood pressure under control.

I like drinking green tea too. Aside from the fact that it cleanses your body, it also stops bad breath, very good for big eaters of spicy food.

In some ways slimming tea and coffee can help since I tried them both but the thing is that if you want to lose more weight this is just one of the solutions and not the main solution. Too much tea can cause ulcers since my friend who loves to drink lots of instant tea saw some blood in his poo. You still need to add more things to make drinking tea or coffee work even if they say it can slim you down such as exercise and watching what you eat.
