This line comes from a song by Katy Perry. It's called Firework. I really like this song because it says so much. We all have the potential of doing Great things. What holds us back?? Does it really matter what the world does or what's going on around us? Don't We CHOOSE how to define ourselves? Let's show the world what we are worth. Let's show the world what we can do. It doesn't matter what people think or do about you. Share that which is special about you with the world!!
Seems everybody wants this world to change. Aren't We are the ones who do that?? You are much more capable than you realize. Be that Firework! Make them go OH!

I think it's a song about appreciating yourself. That is indeed a great song. The video is great too. I'm actually trying to figure out how they did the special effects. It's like the fireworks are really coming out of their torso.

I love this song bird123! I always listen to this and would sing along just like Katy Perry did. It has a very good meaning also. Like you said we should show the world we are worth and can do something great. Let's not belittle ourselves, we all have different talent and all of us can make a big difference here in the world which we can be proud of someday.

I really like that song too. I know what holds me back from doing a lot of things is fear of what others will think. And not only that, I've always had someone trying to tell me what to do with myself or my life. Now, I am trying to do what I know is right for myself, but it is still hard sometimes. I do realize that is all on me though and that I need to do what I want without others standing in my way. Now I'm motivated!

Well OK! That's what I want to hear. You know the world is better off when each of us share with the world that which is special about us. The diversity in this world is there for a very good reason. With so many different views, the world gets a much larger view than any one person can have. We must be brave enough to be ourselves rather than allow others to make our choices for us. Yes, I can see you are a Firework. Light up the sky!!

Hi bird: That's definetly truth. I must say that I love Katy Perry but I like from her latest album, Teenage DReam especially this song because it gives this message and it's perfect, especially when you feel down and that all the things you do are not enough. Firework is a very inspirational song. Thanks for sharing with us your thoughts.

I love this song too, I even dedicate it to my significant other for being a firework in my life. That is very true, each one of us has that capability to shine in our own way.We just have to discover that within us and more often, it just shines through when we are in love .
It has a good tempo too, I have watched the video where Katy performed in a stage and the lighting effects are really amazing.
Sooo..boom boom boom, brighter than the moon moon moon.
