I didn't! When i was a child i was a very picky eater. It continued until i was in college. I was skinny, yes very skinny. I stand 5 feet 3 inches tall and i was only 40-42kg. I was ashamed of my body built but i just didn't find food so appealing at all. I rarely eat breakfast and i ate like a bird all the time. I had my favorite food but i didn't crave much for them. I was active in sports and yet i only eat when i was hungry. But when i got married, had a son, gave birth, i slowly gained weight only after two years of giving birth to my son. My heaviest was 55kg. Now i'm just 52 again! And now i love food. I love them so much i crave for them all the time!

Wow..Such a huge different! From 40-52! But I think you still look great sis! plus the weight is ideal with your height. Who does not love food?? It is hard to find people who does not love food except for those who suffer from eating disorder or people who simply don't like to eat...Many love foods than hate it..

Oh yeah i have heard a lot of women say that. But i don't get influenced by that kind of thought. I still want to have lean and well toned legs rather than a flabby one.

I was always very very slim, my whole life.. I’m 5 foot 1, and I weighed just under 7 and a half stone, which is around about 45 kg or so.. and my figure was perfect, because while I was very slim, I had a big bum, big boobs, and curvy thighs, and a teeny waist.. I loved food, but mainly junk food.. I wasn’t big into dinners and I hated breakfast! I lived on crisps, sandwiches, and chinese takeaways! Then I got quite ill, mentally, and the doctor put me on very very strong anti-depressants, which not only increased your appetite, but they also slowed down your metabolism.. and my weight crept up to 10 stone, which is 63 kgs.. so I was very big! .. luckily enough though I was only that size for about 6 months, because I was able to come off the tablets and the weight started falling off me.. and it’s still falling!! This was only a year and a half ago, and I’m already down to 52kg.. so it’s only a matter of time before I get back to my 45 :) But do you know whats weird? Now I LOVE food!! I don’t want to eat chocolate, or crisps, or cookies, or biscuits.. I want cooked ham, and those scotch boiled eggs, with the breadcrumbs on them as a snack! I want salads, and rice, and pasta.. so I suppose it did me a favour haha!

Sure, I like food, of course. But I'm a strange eater, and this may be due to my energy levels, and sleeping patterns. For some reason, my sleep is not so refreshing, so I tend to wake up with not much energy. I keep going by drinking lots of tea or coffee, and even though I'm hungry, I tend to avoid food for much of the day. There'll come a point when I can't drink any more tea or coffee, and I'm very hungry. And what I'll do is not sit down to eat; I'll grab something and eat it and try to keep going. Problem is...this often doesn't work, and I'll be forced to take a nap to sleep the food off. When I wake up, I'll still feel tired. I'll eat again a couple of times (I get my meals in); but I always find eating interferes with the energetic running of my day. Once my day's work is over, I'm OK to eat; and I like to do this in front of a movie. But during the day, the need for food interferes with my daily tasks I find, and I love to keep active and busy. I really thrive on it.

I was a really picky eater too, when I was a kid. Hated vegetables and only loved meat and junks. I hated fishes too!! And mushrooms, though I still can't eat them. Anyway I used to skip breakfasts a lot too and funnily, I never got that hungry Could go on without the lunch too. My favourite food of the day would be snacks. I loved snacking up on potato chips I wasn't so heavy before but have gained a quite few pounds since last year

I used to hate mushroom but I love them now. I love japanese food, Thai and Korean! I'm still at my ideal weight so I'm happy but I need to be healthy by eating plenty of fruits and vegetables which I rarely do.

Me! I don't love EXPIRED foods hehehe, It's the only food I don't like to eat! hahahaha, seriously I love food that's why it's very hard for me to be on a diet, because I am thinking what if time comes I will no longer be able to eat food I am free to eat today, so I am enjoying all foods I am able to eat but of course, just enough for me to satisfy my cravings.

As a child, I am also very picky and would not eat much as well. It continued till I'm in high school. I started exploring food when I was in college but luckily did not gain weight because of my subject load. Now that I am married, I gained a little and from 48 kilo I am now 52. I love to eat now more than before because my husband is also an eater. We love trying new things and make good memories out of our food trips.

I think after getting married and giving birth to your child you body needs more energy and strength and it prompts you to take some healthy diet. I too am not glutton and normally I take food in moderate quantities.

i love food, and lucky me i have a wife that is good in cooking. i am also a picky eater but not to the extent that i will not eat. i used to go to gym and to go biking so i need my protein to build muscles. i am sad to hear that you did not enjoy food too much, i guess for me you miss a lot. not just the usual food you eat but other foods that other country can offer. again i too is very picky but when i want something i munch it all har har har

i do not eat breakfast most of the time. and like you mentioned, even if i have favorite food i do not crave much for them. even in fiestas, i don't or couldn't eat much. for over 2 decades i maintain a weight ranging from 48 to 50 at 5'4". i do wonder too, how come women gain weight after giving birth to their children? my wife was at 48 and very skinny when we first met 16 years ago. now after 3 kids, she weights 60 and i still remains 50.

Hmm i wonder if i'll ever each 60. But yeah most of the mothers gain weight easily but i gained weight only to reach my ideal one and i'm glad that i'm not as fat as most of my friends who are married. I'm satisfied with the way i look and i'm just glad that i'm not overweight or too fat enough. But i do eat a lot nowadays but i just couldn't gain weight that fast.

I have always loved food, but I'm a selective food lover. As a baby I eat twice the average portions. As a girl I went through a bi-polar stage. I loved peas and then I loathed them. Today I hate breakfast, yet I love breakfast food. There is something about eating after I first wake up that makes me sick. Lunch is the mood lifter and dinner is the crown meal. :) Chicken, beef and turkey top my list along with tomatoes, mashed potatoes and corn and peppers. My list of favorite foods then goes on into infinity. There is any an irony to all of this. All of my life I have eaten like ten men. Yet I always under the health weight range for my height and age. Currently I am 18 pounds under the lowest number in the healthy weight range for me. Yet I have always had good health. It's an odd case but I dare say it has its benefits. :)

hi:) I dont have problem with my eating habit, I eat 3-4 times a day but in moderation so I don't have problem in my weight, haha :D or at least I think that I don't. but what I notice was when I'm craving for something to eat, it's usually midnight If in spite of a healthy dinner I crave for midnight snacks even if I'm not hungry.

It's the staying up late that makes you hungry. I noticed that as well. That's why people who stay up late and don't eat anything lose weight much faster.

I love food very much, sometimes I can't resist the temptation of food. I am fond of sweet food, such as ice cream, waffle, muffin, I was fat before, but now I control my diet. Bread is staff of life. I think your weight 52kg is healthy!

hello toniganzon, thats really interesting. i have always had a good relationship with food and always liked it. its interesting, though, that you say there was a time when you didn't like it, do you have any idea why you may have felt that way? and how it changed?

Most children are picky eaters. I was like that and i was very active in everything other than eating. I considered it a waste of my time and i'd rather play or read books than eat. It changed because i felt i needed to gain weight.

Who can resist food? Especially the type of food you've been craving for days. Everybody has to eat and I don't get why some people, especially teenaged girls are starving themselves just to lose weight and look skinny. I have to have all my meals, from breakfast to maybe a night snack. Having a healthy diet is a healthy person.
