When I am able to give or donate something,clothes,food,money,furniture.....whatever.I prefer to leave it annomys.I do not want a pat on the back, credit or be able to write it off on my taxes and get money for doing it.I feel that God knows what I did and that is what's most important. What do you think?

I think that is a good attitude to take. Of course, the only thing that I can afford to give is my time and that is hard to do anonymously. It is good to not expect something in return for a donation. Only those who are hypocritical do that in my opinion.

I am like that sometimes too. I do like to be acknowledged on some of them though. It makes me feel good when someone knows I was the one who helped them.

I appreciate your generosity. God knows exactly what you are doing and he would give more blessings for you. We have poor brothers and sisters everywhere where our help is needed. whatever we donate or give, small or big it is highly appreciated by them. I just hope many people like you are doing the same thing. Keep it up.

When someone truly gives from the heart, it need not be announced. When one announces or let others know how generous he or she is, that is giving for the sake of getting credits. But that's not what God wants. God acknowledges those who knows how to sincerely give more than one can afford and those who are humble.

True sense of giving and sharing is not to expect for something in return. That includes not waiting to be recognized. If we give from the heart, the smile on the face of the person to whom we gave something will be enough for us... That is very kind of you.

I agree with your statement. God doesn't look our physical body but looks into our mind. Most of them are doing for recognition, social status etc and they need compelled respect from those who receipt the favour. We must help for getting God's reward. As prophet mohammed told that those who wish to give charity must give with right hand without knowing his left hand. Our atittude, behaviour and all our activities must be for God
