Out of the following which one do you think is the most important or toughest stage of forming a band:
1) Finding band members or musicians
2) Deciding the band's name
3) Pick up your Genre(s)
4) Start Writing songs
5) Record a demo
6) Starting promotion
7) Start reaching people
8) Make a good video
9) Share the success.
I want an unbiased response. So, I am not giving my opinion.

debs90 i find the 7th part very tough. because today there is a very huge race,and there is revolutionary improvement in music day by day. So making a good name,reaching out to people,getting stuck in people's heart is the main obstacle for an upcoming musica band.

Finding band members is the most important! You have to find members that you can work with, band members that can get along with the other members, and band members that have enough talent to contribute to the band ! you may not know it, but, you are limited by the least talented member of that band ! Just like a chain, it is only as strong as the weakest link !
When you have good band members, the other factors are just other steps to be taken as they arrive !
