Coca Cola and Ice Cream

I remember when I was young and on the weekends my mother would ask us does anyone one want a coke float and at that time we had no ideal what she was talking about until we all tried on and O the joy of being like a kid loose in a candy store!! L.O.L. It was a tall glass of ice cream with a coke poured in the glass with the ice cram!! I am so craving one right now!! And I really wish my mom was here to make one even though I can do it myself and will soon!! But you know how some things are made by other people? That was my thought but mom is not here 
so I will have to enjoy making it and having it alone!! He he he Have you had one of these? O so good!!

Yes, when I was a kid we called this a brown cow. It was so good. Have you ever had a rootbeer float. That is basically the same thing except instead of Coke you use rootbeer. The flavor of the vanilla ice cream with the spicy rootbeer are so good together. If you have not tried it you have to try it. It is amazing. I actually really want one now.

Coke floats are the best!hahahah! I love it on AW and McDonald's. I used to have these when I was in high school.hahahha! Those were the days! Anyway, I haven't had one since then. I'm really staying away from sodas and sweets! booo!!hahahaha!!

I have never tried a coke float. I have had an orangle float with orange pop and vanilla ice cream. They are really good. They taste like those dreamsicles. Orange popsicle with the vanilla ice cream inside. I will need to try a coke float sometime.

Yes that was a nice treat. We had it before served by mcdonalds. I think they still serve it now during summer. It is coke topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. But they serve it with too much ice, We tried making it at home too, and it was as much as good, and cheaper. Sadly they don't serve it here in the country where I am now.

Sorry to hear that but at least you can make it a home!!! Like you said much better and cheaper and you can also make more than one for the price they charge!! He he he L.O.L.

I LOVE THEM!! I don't make them at home as much as I once did, but when we go out to eat at Wendy's, I'll get a cheeseburger and a "Frosty Float". I also remember when I was a kid, we would make not only Coke floats, but rootbeer floats. I'm not sure which one is my fav. They both rank pretty high up there. LOL. Like a little piece of Heaven!!

I remember being at a gathering as a kid and someone was saying anyone want a coke float and I thought what is that. So they made me one and I was like it is like a shake. Yes it is very good, though I don't drink colas anymore, simply out of choice but it is very tasty.

I love Coca Cola and ice cream,when i was young,i thought that ice cream was the greatest thing to eat,it's delicious and so tasteful.I remember it's been a great time that i eat lots of ice cream each day since i was a child.Though i couldn't return to my childhood,but it's really been a great memory to me.Cheers!

Oh my friend, you are wrong. I believe your mom is there in spirit and more than likely is having a Coke float with you. I've never had a Coke float. I don't care for Coke. I've had Rootbeer floats of course. A float does sound good right now. Unfortunately it's 5am and I have no Rootbeer or Ice Cream.
I could go to the grocery store but then I would be late for work. That darn work ruins all my fun. Best Wishes!

L.O.L. I wish my mom was here but she lives 200 miles away taking care of my grandmother but she does come to visit, he he he next time she is here I am going to ask her to make a float he he he L.O.L.
