Can typhoon "Mina" disturb our long weekend ?

Oh my gosh, another typhoon? And here I was looking forward to the long weekend. I was thinking of some activities which I think the typhoon would hinder. I'll just have to spend the weekend sleeping and watching dvds then.

I recently watched "24 oras" on tv and PAGASA just said that typhoon "Mina" may not landfall here in the Philippines but will still induce the southwest monsoon that will bring more rains over the western sections of luzon and visayas.

It depends on where you are this weekend and what you have planned for the long weekend. If your idea of a fun weekend is spending it outdoors then maybe the rains might force you to make other plans. But if you plan a really long relaxing weekend, then what is BAD weather for some may prove to be BED weather for you!

Probably, bcoz until now its inside the Philippine area of responsibilities, i'm sure were going to have a rainy weekend.

Oh i am worried too that the weekend will still be rainy because of Mina. For the past days, it has been rainy here in our province. But it was said that Mina is just on the sea , very slow moving and will be here until Tuesday. Oh, i just hope by Monday & Tuesday, which is our hometown's fiesta, it will already be sunny.
