Drawing after a long time!

Last night, since I live on the East coast, I was experiencing a little bit of Hurricane Irene. Though, we didn't have too much to worry about because we live on a big hill, so we don't get a lot of flooding in our streets. Right now the weather still looks a little bad, the sun is kind of out but the wind is pretty strong. Around here nobody has gotten hurt, though some people I know have to wait a week to have electricity again. My power didn't go out, though.
In the meantime, I got to drawing again, because I haven't in about two months. So I drew a portrait of a singer, Norah Jones, because she is very photogenic and I always thought she would look good as a drawing. Take a look!

That's great! You certainly have talent. If you're ever stuck for money you can draw people and make as much as you want!

I used to take commissions on ebay around Christmastime, but my goodness, people can be so difficult sometimes! I wish I could be a full-time artist but I'm afraid I'd be poor!

I was watching the news broadcast on the TV about Irene. The news report showed streets in Manhatten, New York. The streets are getting back to normal, looked like. That's the good news. Oh, you are a very gifted artist. Looks so beautiful and perfect !

Wow, I always admire people who can draw..Even my 9 y/o draws better than I do..You did a fantastic job lilbaby, even when I watch someone draw, it is frustrating as they make it look so easy, and yet my drawings are horrible..That is why I write, and I'll let someone else draw the cover page..lol
