Chelsea has reportedly made a big money move for Ribery from Bayern Munich. In other transfer news trickling through Spurs and Fulham are linked with a move for Sully Muntari of Inter Milan. Spurs are also linked with a move for Scott Parker. What are the other hot transfer news making rounds at this hour? Cheers! Ram

I am sure that Ribery won't go to Chelsea. I would like to get rid of him, but Bayern won't sell him, as Bayern doesn't need money. I don't know what is in about Muntari, but I guess he will move, as he doesn't have to many playing opportunities at Inter. A transfer that is sure is Eljero Elia from Hamburg signed for Juventus. David Trezeguet went to Abu Dhabi and Aliaksandr Hleb has signed for Wolfsburg. It is also expected that Forlan will sign for Inter. I am eagerly waiting to see what will happen later on this last day of transfer window.

Why do you want to get rid of Ribery? I thought he was a good player. Is he too big for the club or something like that? Cheers! Ram

Hmm... I agree that team has to be above any player. And yes, I was not very impressed by his performances in the champions league last year. Let's wait and watch how this deal moves on from here. Cheers! Ram

He is good against medium and little teams, but whenever Bayern has a difficult game, he starts playing for himself only, he doesn't pass the ball and that way is a break for the team. It was the case in the Europa League semifinal against Zenit in 2008, it was the same against Inter last year, the same against Barcelona on Camp Nou in 2009. If he would be a team player in those games as well, he would be a great player, otherwise is only a showmen for me. And he has a diva attitude, and he did all he could to sack van Gaal last year, and the episode from the WC 2010 showed his character a lot. He is definitely not too big for a team like Bayern. Of course, many fans of Bayern would criticize me for saying this, but I am a Bayern fan who loves the team more than the players, and I want all of them sacrifice themselves for the well being of the team and not having diva attitudes or trying to be in the spotlight in the great games, without showing anything on those games. But this transfer will never happen, as he makes good games against average teams, and the majority of the opponents are average. I hope that he will be a team player in every game and then I will change my opinion on him.

yes, i read too that Chelsea is frustrated with Luca Modric and change their target too Ribery..even iam pesimistic that Ribery want to play in Chelsea.... Scott parker had become Spurs player...maybe he is best partner for Jenas or they can replace each other..

Money may have it's say in the Ribery transfer saga. Apparently Chelsea are willing to break the bank for this transfer. I think he is better than Jenas just because of his hard work and endeavor. Cheers! Ram

Yes, Ribery stayed back at Munich. Chelsea did not get Ribery. They got Juan Mata instead. Cheers! Ram

I think Chelsea are looking for options other than Modric. Harry is holding on to his valuation of Modric. Currently Chelsea want their man only at their own cost unlike in the past when they used to break the bank for any player. Cheers! Ram
