I found that today the young people have a new fashion. They don't have any eyesight problems. However, they will wear a pair of glasses which only have the frames without lens. This kind of glasses seem to be their makeup accessory. But it amuses me since there are no lens but they just wear the frames

Wow I guess some start young with the "fashion statement" Elementary school is too young in my opinion to be into fashion too much. She has plenty of time for that later...

When I was young I had a girlfriend that was supposed to wear glasses. I saw her wear them one time and then they went in her purse and I never saw her put them on again. Kids didn't like to wear glasses then because they got teased terribly by their peers. Kids can be so mean.

Yeah, that has been the trend for some time now, I think koreans started it.. I don't really love it though, since some people really do nee glasses and others just wear it for accessory.. Well, it doesn't really matter as long as they're not harming anyone, and it also boosts up profits of the eyeglass community..?

I was just thinking, what's the use of the frame without glasses fitted on it. Really funny what young generation have to wear now a days just to be in with the trend.

In the eyes of them, that lets them look like a cultural mind.In fact,It is hard to say someone is fair without, foul within. But then, wearing glasses can't suit everyone.

Isn't it interesting how fashion changes? LOL I remember when some were teased/taunted about wearing glasses and they were called 'four eyes' Now it's a fashion statement. The older I get the less I worry about what is 'in' fashion. I see the humor in following the latest fashion, yet when I was younger I wanted to be one of the first to show off what is 'in' silly me

Well it will be a slightly different look..but so much of fashion is also psychological. If the person feels it makes them look better, they are more confident.

From my view, no many young people have eyesight problems than 20 years ago here. Now even the children at the age of 8 may have glasses for they spend too much time before the computer. So it is strange to find that there is some on do not have glass in a college. 20 years ago, as the frames of glasses did not have so many styles and all are big black ones. It seems uncomfortable and not beautiful. So soon after the contact lenses came out, many young people chose it while in fact it is not good for eyes. Now DAY ACUVUE DEFINE and frames are popular. It seems that DAY ACUVUE DEFINE with suitable makeups can help girls have a shining and attractive eyes which the frame can help them avoid some shortcomings like asymmetry on face.

People who have eyesight problems want to get rid of the glasses, whereas people have perfect eyesight want to wear glasses

So far in my area here, i haven't seen anyone wearing glasses without lens. I only saw a few people whom i had known, wearing glasses without degrees although their eyes sight is fine. They said it makes them looks more mature in appearance.

I also find that more and more people in the street choose to wear no-glass eyeglasses. I don't know whether it's a fashion. In traditional views, a man who wears a glasses looks like an intellectual, which could win more respects. I don't know what's the purposes of those young people who wear no-glass eyeglasses. Personally speaking, I respect their conduct but could not understand it.

That's foolish, eh? Because people who really need glasses (like me) would do anything not to be able to wear them. I think that that is just another nonsense fashion fad.

I have not seen this fashion here, but it makes sense since the younger ones like to change things up for the sake of fashion. This is interesting but not odd because they tend to do so many different things.

Indeed, lots of people especially girls love to do that. But honestly,i do not like such way to become fashion. For some people,it's indeed beautiful for them to wear such glasses, but for some,it's just have the opposite effect. So i wish the girls stop doing that, cause not all people look beautiful with such useless decorations on their face.
