I've been following this drama for quite some time now and I find it interesting to watch and it does make me think about myself and people around me. In the movie, the lead actress encounter an accident that put her into coma. In the movie, it is said that she will be able to recover from coma and live again if she will be able to gather 3 pure tear drops, or those tear drops that comes from people who loves her truly, except her parents, she's an only child. At first she was very confident that it will be very easy for her to gather those tears that will make her live coz she have lots of friends around her. She expects to get it from her fiance, and from her 2 best friends... but she was wrong, it's not that easy coz she just found out that her fiance and one of her best friend actually have a relationship and so on... Now, if you were in such situation, do you think you can easily find those 3 pure tear drops coming from people who loves you truly? And from whom you expect to get those? Except your parents and kids. For myself, I hope I can get one from my husband! haha and the other two...I'm still thinking!

hello my dear sister! I also loved that show even it takes to sleep late at night with my headache on, i still watch that. I do love the story of it. I just didn't catch the first few episodes of it. I even searched it and watched the few first episodes online. It really is interesting to watch. I can't imagine myself if I am in Dianne's situation. You know what, as I have searched it before, the story has original name of 49 days. it's just "a.k.a. Pure love" or vise versa. I forgot! the characters also have different names in the original form. They just changed the character's names for us Filipinos to pronounce the names easily. If you would see what the original names are, you would really find it hard to memorize or even pronounce those. Anyways, as I have said, it's hard to imagine if I am in that situation. I really don't have idea who's who to cry when I am in her shoe. Like in the story, Dianne didn't realize she has not found true friend from her known friends. It's the same as in real life. We all can't tell unless we are really sure of it. What do you think?

Hi Vi! And I thought I'm the only one who missed the last night's episode! hehe I think they just do that to give way for their new show "nasaan ka elisa" Hopefully regular programming is back today but I'm not sure since they have the Miss Universe today. Anyway, just like you I'm surprised to see Bandila right after Biggest Loser and I kinda feel bad about it coz that's the only show I'm waiting on that channel except showtime of course. You know, during that time slot, I keep on changing channel coz we are also watching Big Thing...my husband likes that one a lot and I like it too.

hi vi! same here sis! I also didn't able to see the first few episodes since I am watching more on the other channel that time...haha I just chance upon it and after I've seen one episode from then on I started following it. I really want to finish the movie right away but I don't have a dvd copy of it, maybe I will just borrow from a friend after sh finished it. I think its better to watch on dvd coz on tv there's already some cut scenes but problem is I have to follow the subtitle while watching...hehe what i think? hmmm I can't think! just kidding! well, we can really never know because we really don't know what's inside our friend's and family's heart and mind...

you know what, after posting my comment here, i searched for pure love with the date today and here's what i found. http://proudlypinoy.tv/pure-love-september-12-2011/ check out what other's say about the show... it's amazing how filipinos get hooked on watching it, right? we do hope tomorrow it will be aired... not sure what time it will be...

haha, that's interesting! First of love, i wont expect it from anyone close to me, because the closer one is to us, all the more they won't cry easily, especially in front of us. HOwever, it's friends whom came along for casual visits, are the ones who feel more, and tends to cry easily.. haha That's what i saw and also feel when i came across that scenario to.. hehe. So who's the other two?? ME? Crying over why must u wake up again.. lol

Maybe they are not crying because they want to look strong in front of the situation and maybe they are just keeping their feelings! Well, some may cry easily but the question is, are those tears pure? or tears that came from real love and not just for anything else... hehe The other two? hmp! I didn't expect it from baby casper coz his tears are already reserved for some one somewhere out there! haha

i heard about the movie, i seen a few episodes so i don't have the exact story. i though ask what is going on and who are those characters, etc. when i am watching with my wife. i have not watched the completeness of the story, of the movie because i usually concentrate here on the site. anyway, just like you, the first person that comes to my mind is my wife. if relatives are not to be included, i guess i could get one drop from a close friend from the workplace and one from a friend from school.

Yes, I also feel bad about that coz I've been waiting for the show. Maybe the program didn't aired it to give way on the pilot episode of "nasaan ka elisa" (where is elisa) just like the other network did during the pilot episode of "iglot" hehe they didn't air "Big Thing" on that day. Hopefully tonight we are going to watch it again...

Hi ckyera, A fable indeed is this. And here is shown how love gets fragmented. Her beloved would shed one drop,but I have doubts if two of her best friends would shed sincere for each of her best friends I have doubts. If they were best friends why not a single drop of tear for their dying friend. So do n0ot trust such friends who finally show their cilly.

hi krajibg! well actually there are some people in the movie who cried...but their tears are not pure...meaning although they shed a tear, the real feelings behind the tears didn't really come from pure love...

Yes, this is not necessary that one should really cry. But I have seen too that some artists do literally shed original tear. Only such people can play the role given to confident and commitment them with more

hello amiga, Nice to see you again I wish to find the three teardrops here in mylot. As I've found my family here- virtual parents,sisters,brothers- so, I am sure to find the three teardrops. One teardrops surely will come from a very good/true friend who never let me down. One is from someone who loves me,gives me inspiration and made me live and dream again. Hi jaiho! Then you are one lucky mylotter and friend! I think for someone like you, finding those will not be that difficult. I think you can get even more than three including your friends outside mylot. I wish I also have the same kind of friends, but too bad as for the moment I can't really think of any...maybe I already have 2 one from my husband, and another from my brother... Thanks for being here, who knows the third one will come from me? or maybe martin? lol!

I am done watching this Korean drama and I cried a lot. I can't endure the pain if this happens to me. How hurtful it is to find out your best friend and fiancee are just fooling you. And will pull down your families business because of MONEY. Everything was planned by her best friend, she was an accomplice of the crime. Scheduler was the hottest Korean actor i have ever seen, I adore him so much. i want him for one night only. if this happens to me then I know i can get a pure tear from my lover, and other two is uncertain. I am not sure yet..

Really? How I wish I could finish watching it too! My husband, he's not buying me the dvd copy of it...hehe anyway, on tv she already have the first tear and i'm excited to know to whom she will get the other two....shhhh. keep it secret from me! lol! I really sympathize with 'dianne' and her family, its really sad to know the truth about her fiancee and her best friend. Yes, he's cute and 'makulit', I think among the guys in the movie he really is the hottest. hehe Thanks for sharing your thoughts...

woooh! haha i wish i can watch it in you tube too but the problem is that i have a very poor internet connection, so instead of enjoying i might just get irritated! yeah, only a drama...but i can't really stop thinking what if it happens to me...haha are there any people aside from my parents and brother who loves me purely...hehe well, sometimes i can't really think of the right words to say here and can't even think of the english words for some words that's why i'm just using our local language...hehe i think a single word wont hurt. lol! yeah, the first tear came frm him right? but still i don't know what happened in the end...haha still following it!

The two tears come from "aham" and "ahem" hahaha!of course I wont tell. i watched it in youtube. The whole episode. Ji Hyun "diane" is a lovely girl to be betrayed, she stress free and so sweet! Well, we must not get affected this much for it's only a DRAMA! Yes totally cute and pesky (makulit-mylot admin might wonder what you've mentioned-only English are allowed here)... I want to be with him now..hahaha! And "KANG AH" owner of the heaven resto, he's too handsome. He's ji hyun's Saviour!

That sounds like a very interesting movie.I have known people in similar situations where they are betrayed by a close friend or relative.Most recently my 14 year old daughter was dating a boy.Then found out that he and her best friend like each other.He broke up with her and began dating this other girl.And for some stupid reason my daughter is still best friends with this girl and he continues to look at my daughter. And my daughter-in-law had previously had a relationship with this man,before she had met my son,and he abused her.They broke up and he moved in with her divorced mother and they are a couple.Strange! However,my sister and 2 granddaughter's tears of true love I could count on to save my life!

there's really a lot of strange things happening around, and i can't say if its because of love or just because of people's craziness! lol! Then, that will be great to know, and also sometimes we can get that pure love from people we least expected...just like in that movie. Thanks dfollin!

Indeed it is an interesting movie. I think it will be hard for most of us to get the get 3 pure tear drops. Although most people have lots of friends, but very few have more than 3 true friends and true loves. I mean when everything is ok, they maybe our friends, but what about in a disaster? we know that blood is always thick than water. we can easily got more than three pure tear drops if they come from our family members. But if it comes to people without blood shared with us, it will be different.

Hi aprilsong! I agree with you, we may have lots of friends around us who seems to love and care for us but things just went differently in difficult times. Well I know that there are some people who are able to find really good and true friends and they are really lucky for that. As of now, I can't really think of any friend that I know who can give me that kind of tear drop but we can really never know, sometimes we are able to find it from people we least expected.

I can not make sure that really can I have that three. I think for a person, there must be some reason for him/her to love another one. While the reason may make it a impure love. To me, I prefer those with good lookings than plain ones, so for me it is more likely to make a friend with a handsome man, while can I get his real friendship, I doubt about. But I can make sure we can have a happy talking when we are together. So if you really want to have some pure love, you should first make sure that you start a relationship with other people with pure love. I think to some people like mother teresa, they can get pure love easily for they give put their pure love first.

Hi dandan! I think you are right with that that we should give pure love to get one too. But it's just sad that sometimes, no matter how real we are to some people, still they can't love us the way we love them, just like in that movie, she loves her bf truly, she loves her best friends like a sister but in the end, they still betrayed her. It's really difficult to find people who will love us purely. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I've seen the advert on tv, and it's being recommended for a tearful show. Too bad it's not available on cable or local tv, it's only available via VCDs and i don't wish to purchase them because i won't be able to watch it more than once. IT's going to be a waste of money for sure. I would love to watch that show too, since i want to know, how pure tear drops are going to come by, to revive her.

When you are alive you think everyone is loving you with all their hearts but in that soap opera it seems it is hard to get a pure kind of love... How is that...you can really expect everything in this world. you will just know it when it happens to you. hope when that happens to me i can produce a three-tear drop with pure love in a second.... Because i feel love everywhere..but it is hard to know if it is pure... i know i can get it from my husband too...and two --- my mother and my father of course....

hi biach17 that's true, we can really never know what will happen tomorrow and how things feels not until it happens to us. i think most of us really feel loved and i do too...but what i just don't know is if i am feeling it right...haha sometimes we misunderstood some kindness for love. but in the movie parents' tears are not included...so who else can you think of? brothers? sisters? just to make things harder, what if anyone who have blood relation with us is not included?

In the soap opera, it seems so difficult if I were in her shoes, but then, in real life, in my case, I think it would be easy for me to get 3 real tear drops from people i love. i have friends whom I think are faithful to me and maybe those persons who truly believe in me. I have seen the soap for quite some time but not really a fanatic of it since it shows late on TV, but I find it very good and very thought-provoking. It opens our eyes to the real people we know who are true.

How come the parents and kids are not allowed to give a tear and the husband is? There are so many parents who don't like their kids at all and so many kids who hate their parents. Parents and children you can't choose your husband you can. In short I don't think I will get those 3 tears, just one and only if he is able to cry.

Hi wakeupkitty! Actually, in the movie, she's an only child and according to that, the tears from her parents are not allowed, I think its because her parents truly love her without a doubt. And as for the kids, I just added it in case the respondent is already married and with kids. I just think that children will always have that real love for their parents. And as for the husband, well although we can choose whom we can marry, there are still some cases of arranged marriages and others, and sometimes, even we are already married with the person we choose, not necessarily means that they love each other truly, that's why there are couples who broke up... I assume.

I am also a fan of this series and there were lots of scenes where I was really moved. It is not easy if I were in here shoes. It's hard getting the pure teardrops specially that it will be a secret to everyone about what she was going through especially with her 49 day chance. I also want to get one from my special someone and from my two closest friends. But not yet now. Just in case.

I think i can easily get my three drops from my other half and my sibling since i have a large pool of sibling to get help from but only 'one' the other half. If not, i may have to beg few of my buddies for their tear drop in my deepest dream. At least they are the people that i think truly love me and willing to give a bit of their body part to save my sorry as* from coma.

For me it is very good in this time because it is easy to the man finds a girl if like him and got relationship in them but it is not that worst they want to be more in relationship and they get abandon there family.
