I think that there are a lot of people out there that are having to change some part of their lives, due to changes that are not their fault.People are worse off money wise, also there are less houses, so means peoples children as they grow up stay living at home for a lot longer, people are having to go without things just to pay the bills.I am doing the same as my friend i am changing rooms around in my house to make it better for all that live here, getting loads of things that i no longer use or need and giving some away and selling other things, best thing i have completed in a long time.I getting my house the way i want it, slowly, but surly, as it takes time and money.

I know that goes! I lost my part-time job. I lost a good amount of money every money and that has hurt me! The bills I was paying monthly out of the part-time job money now I have to pay out of my regualr paycheck! It has hurt me finacically and I end pretty much broke by the end of payday! To make things a little easier I reduced my retirement fund percentage for 6% to 5% amd found out I can have less taxes taken out of my pay check! It will help a little! It is better then nothing! With the part-time job I am now just feeling in when needed. It is better then nothing, too!

Change is a part of life. I don't care for it much but it happens regardless. There alot of short falls in the world now days. Things that people just can't help. Too many people wanting the same jobs and people not caring for eachother like they used to. People are growing up to be selfish and self serving. It all starts in the home.

There is nothing we can do to stop it. There will always be changes in our lives. some will be good changes to enrich our lives. other changes will be unexpected and hard to take. all we can do is accept the changes and move forward trying to make something good from the changes as they come.

Life in general tends to be a roller coaster with a lot of ups and downs, but really, there are a lot of bad things happening. Some people tend to be a bit more able to position themselves in a better position but there are some normally resourceful people who are not going to really having all that much of a good time. I think the best that we can do is saving what we can, when we can and trying to cut whatever corners that we can. People who did this before the economy bottomed out are only in a slightly better state than they were before. There are a lot of people who are really going to get a shock as things are going to get far worse before they get better. Hopefully things get better but its just a scary state of affairs.

Over here (in the Netherlands) there are houses enough (at least I think) but most people are not able to buy them (not every house is for rent). In my street are over 10 houses for sale already over 1 some even 3 years. My eldest daughter is renting a house with het best friend (he is nearly blind) and now her boyfriend moved in too. So they share the rent etc and the house. For many it's hard to change and some just don't know how to do it. I seldom sell anything but do give it away to those who might need it. Here, in Hungary or the Gambia. People give me a lot as well, clothes, shoes, toys, books. I am happy with and so are my kids. Before you are able to change you have to know what is prior to you. You also have to agree that it's great to have a goal to work/save for or give up some other things for if you don't have a large bank account. For me it's a sport (so fun) to get what I want for as less money as possible. So if I had the money I would probably do it the same way. You just enjoy it more if you have to be creative to get it no matter how long it takes.

I think that the recession has changed many people's lives. Some have been made redundant from their job and they are finding it hard to get another job. It sounds like you are doing some clutter clearing and making your home nicer to live in. Loads of people are going without in order to pay their many household bills. I am using my car less to pay a lower amount on petrol. When my house insurance came round for renewal I looked round for a lower cost. I will be watching how much I have the heating on this winter. I don't wish to get a really high cost gas bill. The cost of living has gone up but people have far less money it seems to me. We could all do with our lives changing for the better.

there are many things that I like to do that I don't do any more because of changes. I really wish I can live my life the way I want to. I'm planning to go solar so I want to have bills in electricity and gas. I already have saved some money so for the future the only bills I will pay are my rent and water bills. i want to quit a job that I hate but there are things I need to sacrifice for the sake of survival. For sure there's Gotta be more to life and I wish I'll be satisfied in that aspect.
