What makes you earn?

We all know that we want to earn, but for what? What is your/our main goal?. I opened this discussion because I want to know what makes a person earn.
As for me, I want to earn because I want most of my things came from myself because if I bought something that I desire then its an achievement for me :). Though, I also want to earn because I want to help my mom and to buy what she wanted to have. I have lots of reason to earn but all I can say now is this two because I believe this two is the most important. I know that i'll not earn a lot here but I'll still try my best. I also want to engage in an PTC or Online Networking because I saw many earned because of that. haizt.

i work my butt off constantly to try to earn money so i can have my own farm where i will take in abused and unwanted animals. i want to make as much money as possible to make the world a better place for animals. people have such an easy life. they just make it seem so difficult. animals have no control over what happens to them. so it takes people like me to stand up for them.

Way to go and you keep doing that girl. Seriously, someone has to and doing your part I think shows other they can too, even if it is in a small way. In regards to the comparison - joking here - between the powerful people and the not powerful animals, I have some skunk families here that do as they like because I let them because they are so p o w e r ful lol. Seriously, interacting with them has enabled me to see that having respect and understanding for animals can make cohabitation possible. Share!

I like your goal, I hope that you can have your farm soon. Me, I want to build a School then, a Hospital for the poorest of the poor :)

My main goals are to reduce my debt so I may be able to retire a little sooner or a little easier. With debt you wind up "serving two masters"... your boss and the people you owe. I have enough "fun" having the one boss already!

I'm always looking for ways to earn money online, sharing my knowledge or using it wisely. I've been writing about what I know for years now and I've been learning more and more about these things as well. However I'd love to be the owner of some well-known website someday, I'm still figuring out what that website is going to be ;).

well if you meant, what makes me want to earn? its human nature to want to earn, paying bills and groceries come in second.but apart from the obvious answers, its everybody's wish to have a constant income with a healthy dose of stress, but not a job that will high jack your personal life.

I agree with you, even I don't want a work that will put me on great stress, though if it happen that I didn't have any choice. I'll just gonna steal a time to relax :P
