Do you believe in rebounds?

So my friend just broke up with his girl and wants to get his mind of the sticky break up, should he go for another? Like for a rebound? Is that really a good thing? Won't it just worsen the situation?

I don't think rebounds are always solutions to getting over a break up. I do think perhaps your friend should take a break from relationships and that'll give him some time to think for himself what he really wants or whatever suits him well in a relationship. If he goes for another girl just because it's just an excuse for him to rebound from the previous relationship, then he's not being fair to the next person he dates. Not everyone would like know that they were being used indirectly as 'rebounds' to heal another person's wound from a previous relationship.

Yes I agree, to go into a rebound would not be fair and lead to another disaster!

It will only work if both learned something. You don't break up for no reason. Actually I tried it 3 times over with my ex and it did not work at all. So finally I left forever and he just stalked me for 14 years.

It is when you hop up with someone else just to feel better about yourself, haha, I am not even sure about that...
