If you would really believe you are beautiful and great you would use that instead of telling yourself people don't like you because of the way you talk. If you have enough self esteem you don't care about what others say or what you wear. There are many of people who are not fashioned and who do make other people turn their head if they walk by. There are people who can catch other people their attention by just appearing or smiling or the way they look at someone. This means you need personality, you have to be someone, to be you. Walk straight up. Look people in the eyes, smile at them, be friendly. Comb your hair and wear clean clothes. This all is more worth as the way you talk or the price of the clothes you wear. Just start practising this, each day a bit more. Show you have manners and don't get focused at only a certain group of people. And most of all: believe in yourself since you are good the way you are. And if it is really bother you the way you speak, go find someone who will teach you. Start reading books and magazines, listen to English radio/tv and repeat sentences.
