Hi, For the past few days, I am not seeing any credits for my discussions. Is there anyone who is having the same problem like me. Or I should wait for few days and later check it.

What do you mean by "credits"? Are you referring to your User Rating (the number in brackets by your name)? This will increase ONLY when your discussion has at least two responses or a response and a comment. Even if you get only ONE response, it pays you to post as good a quality comment to that response as you can. Do you mean that you aren't seeing any earnings for the discussions you have posted? Well, in the first place, earnings here are NOT calculated on a 'per post' basis. I think that MANY people have already told you that. MyLot pays you according to the quality of your own actual participation. Participation covers much more than just posting discussions, responding and commenting. It means interacting with people by commenting in your own discussions, for example; it means using the site and taking full advantage of all the various ways of earning from it (and also using some features which don't directly contribute to earnings). Quality. What is "quality"? It means being descriptive, original and relevant; giving the BEST responses you can in other people's discussions and ADDING materially to your own by REPLYING at length to those who respond in your discussions. It is NO use just saying "Thanks for replying" or "Ya, I agree ..."! Where does that get anyone? How does it encourage people to keep talking? You only earn for your own work! It doesn't matter HOW many responses you get to a discussion (hopefully, you will get some, if it's a good discussion), you will NOT earn one red cent more if you DON'T post QUALITY comments (replies) to your respondents. One last thing! If a discussion is deleted, you are NOT credited for it or for any participation you might have had in it (such as responses or comments). The appropriate number is deducted from your User Rating and any cents you might have earned with regard to that discussion are deducted. User Ratings AND earnings can go down as well as up. That is why it is VITAL to have read, fully understood and to observe the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx

I really have little patience with people who DON'T read what I have written! WHERE did I say that "Quality doesn't matter"? Yes, you will be 'credited' for even a 'few word replies' ... with NOTHING, nada, 'not one red cent' ...

Hi owlwings, You have given me the basic information about how i can post and participate in Discussions. But I have a doubt whether I am responding in the right way or not. If Quality doesn't matter. Will I be credited even for a few word replies.

Since I have started in MyLot, I already received credits to every post and comments either to my own discussions or of those I have made on others. Just see to it that you have written tags on every topic you are going to post so it will surely have credits. It is one thing I have observed in MyLot.Keep your patience though...you might have them later.

Hi Binggaling, I just got your point and understood what mistake I have done. I have started many discussions and left there only few comments about it. I am just going through all the posts I have made.

I think that you haven´t read well the rules of this sites, friend. For instance, this post has many answers, but you haven´t commented them. If you don´t comment, no matter how many answers you get, you will not get more than what your post merits. And your post is a two liner.so you won´t get much, probably.

I think you should have at least one response to your discussion in order for it to be credited. That means you have to post interesting discussions in order for them to be credited.

Yeah, and you'll never know what they'll post so you better be ready for negative ones.

I got your point too. I will try to respond in a way that others comment about it. But others should comment isn't it?

Your discussions should have responses that you have commented nicely also, for it to be able to have credit. Usually, when you post like today, it will be credited the next, next day. I think, they do have their cut-off time that's why. And yes, my discussions are credited as expected. Usually , i am even surprised because i get more for what i expect.

Hi Simplyd, For the first one week I was credited correctly on that day itself. But later I felt whether I was credited right or not.

even i don't know what method they are using to give credentials. I never noticed whether I have been credited for the images I am adding. But at the end of, I can see some dollars in my earnings.

What most people especially New people like you need to remember, is that in here quality counts more over quantity, and it also depends on what type of discussions one is starting in here, or responding back too as well. If you are started or responding back to discussions that are constantly being removed your numbers will not change. So just continue to come here when you can and have Fun, and good things will happen.

I have noticed that it takes 24 hours for mylot to update. So, if I were you I would wait for the next update and see what is going on, and then decide what to do from there.

Hi, I got some 5 cents credited dating the previous dates which I claimed that I have not been credited. Let me wait and see If I am credited later or not. Hope everything will be good.

I am late to this party, but I've been lurking and watching your participation score rise from the time you first sent me a friend request three weeks ago, and I see you have improved your score to 93 in that time, so I will now accept your friend request because I know you are participating actively. When you get seven more points, you will get your reputation star, and that will tell you something about how other participants in discussions you've started or been in view the quality of your responses. I hope you are also remembering to check the plus beside the response or comment of eveyone who participates in the same discussions as you if they have made a quality response. You would want them to do that for you, and we should all help each other keep our stars as high as possible.
