That's right! Not to worry, it's not a new pet species. Puppoose - an accessory (the first) which allows you to carry your pet canine or feline. Similar to the idea of slings used to carry babies, where parents used - Puppoose is being designed for pet lovers to carry their pets around without "occupying" our hands. The design by a pet lover - Shannon Beach, the concept conceived from the vet's best way to carry a small dog or cat where it is on our forearm with legs hanging on either side, pet lovers will be assured our pet is being carried well. Presently, Shannon crocheted about 50 slings to experiment with different materials before finding a company in Hong Kong to manufacture the Puppoose. It costs £37 and comes in four sizes and a choice of colors. It can carry dogs weighing up to 22lb. I wonder if there will be added enhancements like a small pocket for a wallet or an iPhone5. Maybe? I can see the point of this, particularly for dogs. Dogs hate being away from their owners, but it is not always possible to have them walking. The smaller brreds get tired from walking too far, and older dogs.As long as this doesn't encourage the ownrs not to walk their dogs regularly. Most cats would hate it. There are Australian native animals, when rescued for whatever reason, that need to be kept very close to their carers. Baby native sespecially need apuch. I have seen carers walking around with joeys in a pouch or puppoose. They make the babies feel very safe and secure, and it is the natural state they would be in with their mothers.

jennybianca, I have to say that this is a rather good idea especially for small and/or medium sized dogs which can be quite difficult to bring out for walks at crowded places. With this owners can carry them to a less crowded place or part of the park to let them down. Or, during extreme weathers where it would be good to carry them then let them on the ground.
