Coffeesong, that is nice. I wish I had a job that allows me to travel often. I love travels and especially enjoy meeting people with various cultures. I guess I just love knowing how other people manage their lives in others places and time zones. Hope you were not victim of cultural differences such as slang and body language.

That's really different culture for some countries. For example, during I visited Bangladesh during June of this year, I met one problem. That days were really hot, there is no problem to wear short pants in our country, so I just wear same pants when I arrived at Chittagong. But when I came out from airport, many local people gazed at me, I do not know why at that time, so I just thought maybe because I'm foreigners for them. But when I arrived at our factory, I talked with my friends for this issue, they informed me that since most of them are Islamism, their local law is not allowed women to wear short pants, that's why all of them look at me in special eye. From that time, I realized that I need learn the country's culture before I arrived at there.

I had to travel on one of my jobs and enjoyed travel. One of the things I did while driving was to listen to audio books. They were entertaining and informative and helped pass the time.

I haven't ever traveled for business. I did once have a working holiday visa for Australia. There I did some casual work and it wasn't career minded. These jobs were being a children's nanny, a charity collector and a factory packer. I studied in the Netherlands for four months as part of my degree.

My job requires me to travel quite often within my own country and overseas, to countries in different parts of the world. I very much enjoy working with people of different countries and cultures. That is very educational and beneficial in learning about the countries.

That's cool! I wish I could go on business travel, too. (Would want somebody else to pay for my travel. ) That's one thing I'm envious of some of my friends, because their job gives them an opportunity to travel (company expense )

You are right, that's the only benefit from business trip. I can enjoy my trip with company expense, no need care about expense.^_^
