Just a Personal account is all that you need. It MUST however be 'verified' by connecting it to your bank account (you must have a PAN number) if you want to receive your payments. According to RBI regulations, you MUST also transfer any payments to your bank within 7 days of receipt. I believe that the minimum that you can transfer is $10 and that, although PayPal state that there will be charges if the amount transferred is under $500, they have, apparently, waived them so far. I am not Indian, however, so this information may not be quite accurate - this is what I understand from reading answers elsewhere. The minimum limit of $10 will be of no concern if and when you receive payments from MyLot but it may affect any payments you receive elsewhere. Nobody seems to know what happens to balances in PayPal which are less than $10 and therefore cannot be transferred within the 7 days. I presume that PayPal are happy to keep them for you until you have at least $10 and they will then transfer them.

I think the 7 days rule has not been implemented yet by Paypal.I did store my money for over 2 weeks, having a balance of over $10 but they let me transfer it smoothly to my bank account without hassles.I am from India. Also now the fee of Rs.50 for transferring money to one's bank account in India has been made Free!Earlier no matter what we earned we had to pay that heavy fee which amounts to more than a dollar just to execute the bank transfer.I thank Paypal for this.

@oindy54, I can confirm that the seven day rule has been implemented on my account. Two days ago I received an email from PayPal stating that my money was automatically withdrawn from PayPal.
