In need of new games

My 2 yr old son and I are in a game rut. It seems like we fro the same things every day. Color, hide and seek, read, play blocks and cars. We need ideas on other games to play. Moms and dads, what are your favorite games to play with your (younger) children?

We like to sing songs that have actions. Other than that, we basically do what's on your list, plus we play pass with a ball. (Sometimes we play hockey, too). My son is 17 months. He also likes to walk around the house banging a pot with a stick, or clashing two metal objects together.

Oh yes, we also sing and dance to his movies and play with balls. But the last time I let him play with pans and beat on them and such,he started beating the dog instead. The dog just laid there and took it, with my son laughing the whole time. Thanks for your reply.
