My boyfriend lost his phone :(

I'm kinda sad because my boyfriend lost his phone today at work :( He's my best friend and I always look forward to his texts and calls but now I won't be getting any until he gets a new phone.
Also, he has a ton of pictures on there of us and also texts he's saved. I'm not sure if he's realized that yet but I just thought about it and all that lost stuff makes me sad. Those were our memories and now they're just gone. I really hope that someone returns his phone because it makes me sad :(

That is such a pain when that happens. I remember losing phones before, and having to use a call box for the first time in years just to contact people, so they know that I am alright, but unable to answer messages. I rely on my phone, and my partners... 2 years ago he put his phone in the washing machine, and I was so worried about him, because I could not get hold of him. He got hold of me in the end and explained what happened, and we had to go get him a new phone. It's a nightmare especially when you use your phone to keep in contact with your loved one, also the pictures and messages that have every meaning to you, and memory is awful to think that they may be gne forever. I hope that your boyfriend finds his phone, or if someone has found it, I hope they are decent enough to return it.

I had no idea he lost it until I got a knock on my door and he was standing in front of me. Usually when he's working he can't talk until break and I had heard from him earlier so I was just waiting around for him to get off and I thought it was weird that I never got a call. When he showed up at my house I could tell he was a little angry about the phone but eventually he got over it.
I'm just not sure he's realized that all his pictures could be gone. The phone was already breaking to begin with, so it's not that big a deal that it's gone. It's just the memories that it stored that will be lost :( I have pictures of us and text messages on my phone but on his phone he has different pictures of us and he also has some that he's snuck and took of me at random moments like when we're sitting at restaurants. It's kind of sad to think that they'll be gone but I guess we'll just have to make new memories and take new pictures :)

I think I know what you mean about losing a phone.
I was just browsing through all the stuff I have on my phone, and I didn't realize that I have almost a hundred pictures in there. Most of them I have not saved anywhere else.
It would really be difficult to lose it.
I hope your bf has a new phone by now.

Definitely try and find a way to put them on the computer so you don't lose them or anything. Luckily, my boyfriend got a new iphone and he had everything from his old one backed up onto his laptop. So all he had to do was reload it onto the new phone and he got everything back :) I was so worried though that he'd lose all our pictures but everything worked out just fine.

This is really sad when losing a phone with so many memories stored.
It's not the phone that we feel sorry then...but the memories stored in there like photos and videos.
my daughter also lost her phone and it happens twice already and made her cry due to photos that she kept on her phone.
Hope it will return soon...

Oh Courtknee, I am so sad for you too. I hope someone finds his phone and gets it back to him. I would be lost without my phone.. it's my way to mylot when I am away from home. I love my iphone.

lol He can't live without his iPhone either. He has an upgrade available so he was going to get a new phone anyways since his phone is so beat up. The sad thing is that we have so many pictures and memories on that phone and now it's all gone. It's sad to think about losing all that stuff :(

So far I don't really use my mobile phone except for some long distance calling and emergency calling if something goes wrong in the car. I haven't even learned to use the camera yet, and wouldn't know how to get the pictures onto my computer if I did know how to take them. I know, though, how I'd feel if I lost the pictures on my computer, so I really do hope the phone is found. Is it possible to save the pictures from the phone to somewhere less easy to lose to prevent something like this happening again?

With iPhones there's a way to back up everything onto your computer so you won't lose contacts, photos, etc. when you update your phone or you get a new iPhone. Knowing him, he probably never did that so I think all the memories are gone forever. Who knows, maybe he actually did have things on his computer so that he can just get a new phone and have everything go onto the new phone.

Oh i am so sorry that your friend lost his phone. I would be devastated if I had lost my phone coz it's like I have my mini world stored in there.
Anyway about a year back I lost my digital camera and I was so pissed and sad and mad all at once. I lost in school but no one returned it to me. I had put up notices in all the boards of our building but still I couldn't get it back 
I just wish people would return stuffs and not keep with them

I have ever lost my phone as well. For me, it's really an annoying thing. In fact, it's not the phone itself that makes me vexed but the important private data and telephone directory. These are something difficult to restore.

courtknee:I am sorry to hear that you are so sad for missing phone of your boyfriend.Maybe you more or less care the phone itself,but I know that the most annoying thing in your mind is the memories you and your boyfriend have lost forever.

Wow I have never had this happen before, but I too would be very upset :( did he call his service provider and report it missing, When they do that then if someone find it then they cant use it and if they try to activate it then a report will be sent to the police because when they have to give out all their information, address, phone number, drivers license, they have everything to send to the police. But I hope he just lost it at work and someone that he works with will find it and return it to him... good luck... and remember that all those memories you still have in your heart. And you have been so lucy to experience them.
