My daughter in law back in home

After CS delivery on 12th September, Subhee’s mom is back home yesterday 17th with the baby boy. Both are healthy. Subhee has given her 2 names, Daktarr (means doctor, probably because she saw many doctors in the private hospital where the baby was burn) and Chotu, means ‘small’. Subhee’s school name is Sudikhya, the nick name Subhee came from ‘Subash’ (her dad) and ‘Vidya ‘ (her mom), the new angel is now nick named Bishu (‘Bi’ from Vidya and ‘shu’ from Subash. There is another reason, the twin sons of my elder son are nicknamed Aaasu and Nishu; thus Bishu will be in tune with these names. Hubby will find names from them later based upon Vedic astrology, time, place, date of birth. How do you name your babies? Please respond, share and comment.Kalyani God bless you

Wow! I like how you name your children/grandchildren! Well thought of and has a history, astrology and tradition. In my country, the norm is naming children after famous personalities and events. Being a Catholic, I named my children after saints and biblical characters. My eldest son is named Charles Adam because he was born near the feast day of Saint Charles Borromeo and Adam being our first born man.

I won't even attempt to answer your discussion, as I don't speak or write your language! I think you will be able to find a good one nevertheless!

My eldest, I came up with the name as the neice of a friend of mine when I was in high school had that name and it stuck in my head. My middle daughter was going to be named Natalie but then I changed my mind as I was tired of the name due to hearing it every night on the news. So I found my middle's name doing geneology. And my son well the girls names all end in an "a" but I could not find a name that was not weird or girlie for him so I said to hubby how about ..... and he liked it and would not hear of it being another name citing that I had named the girls. But I like names that are normal but not common or popular. It's hard for boys to find something unique with out being made up or weird. I'm still not fond of his name, though it's a good name, I just wish hubby would of listened to any of the other names I had on my list.
