my Family?

since I was still 5grade school, I was realize that I don't recognize my grandma and grandpa and also other family except my parents and my little brother, my sisters... cause my parents never told me about it, i never know my family history etc then my father died 8 years ago... till now I still don't know, and still to find out the real me... Huh, my life is weird...

I don't know my whole family either and I don't care about it. I don't feel the need to find out all about the family history (history is history). Knowing everything doesn't give me a better life. I don't find myself weird. Personally I find it weird if people claim they miss their family, fater, etc and they never met them. You can't miss anyone you never met, that is just something that is inside your own head. Because you think that is "normal" (what ever normal may be).
I told my kids about my parents but they never met them and they don't feel the need to meet them either. They don't feel weird, they are great kids with a lot of self esteem and very happy.
You are only weird if you feel that way and if you are not open to look at yourself and be friends with who you are and love yourself you will never find the real you. Knowing everything about your family has nothing to do with that.
