can we have many "best friends "?

I agree with your opinion, a good friend is a friend who always listens and gives advice when we are in distress. either in a state of matter is always happy and in difficult circumstances

If we label our friends we can be simply selective and discriminating. But when we say "best" it means it outdone the rest. So only few have this tag. I have many friends, dear and caring friends but I have only two best best friend, myself and my God!

You can have only One Best friend! If you had two,or five, only one of them could be your Best friend. That's because to be your Best friend this person must be a better friend than all others. Therefore your other friends would become your second best, or your third best, etc,

i think i have more, but let me count. i have one boy best friend from school and one girl. they are both living and working now abroad so we never see each other for years. i have one boy best friend here in this city. i met him the first time i reach this place and even we are working in separate office and cities now, we constantly communicate with each other through phones. i also have one girl best friend i met here. but we are not in good communications for the past few months for we are both busy with our work. i also have met a friend online which eventually turned to be my best online friend.

I got lots of friends, close friends or what we may want to call it but I only have 3 best friends. I don't easily trust people cause most of them, once you tell them a secret, they will just tell it to another person close to him/her and then the secret spreads. And some, they will leave you in times you are down. And mostly, some will just get close to you because they need you for something. So now, I prefer not to get close too much with a lot of people due to my past experiences. Though I still consider some of them as friends, I still limit myself from sharing my life with them. Except my best friends. :)

Yes. Of course we can have. Best friends are the ones you treasure most, the ones that you trust your life with and the ones that in nearest to you heart, I have a lot of best friends and because I am not the secretive type of person, I Tell all of them my stories and my issues with any second thought. :)

I believe that we can have as many friends as want in our lives. i also believe that we can only call one person our best friend. this is the person we can always turn to in joy or sorrow, good times or bad.

personally no...I don't think. or at least I don't thinks so. I'm not the type of person who has many friends...if you sorround yourself with all kind of people you can call all of them friends. friends is someone that is there for you when you need him. and less you could have lot's of best friends...

I honestly can't say that I've ever had a best friend. I tend to keep to myself, so the thought of having more than one or two would seem odd to me.

As you side,we can have many acquaintances but we can only hace few best friend.I think having 1 or 2 best friends is best.Everyone has own secrets that is too bad,and don't want to hide self mind?You want to tell others who can comfort you and keep secret for you.So they can give you a special feeling,sense of belonging.I have a "best friend",he grow up together with me?I have been satisfild with my only best friend.
