travel has attracted thousands of millions of people and has pulled us into a magical and admirable heaven. according to a recent survey, 80% of the population of the whole world are fond of travelling. However, the ideas on how to travel and how to be prepared to this interesting job differs from person to person. some think that I should work hard in my youth and earn enough money to travel when I am old while others think I should quit job as soon as possible to just pick up the package to travel around the world. so what is your opinion on the phenomenon?

Traveling need not be expensive. I do not have a high paying job, but I manage to travel at least once a year around the world and at least every quarter locally in my country. We look for air fare on sale (something which is commonly offered here) and then we look for affordable accomodation. We don't usually go for guided tours. We like to "do it like the locals". This way, we get a glimpse of what the country/place truly is. In our (I have at least one constant travel buddy) travels, we often see a group of tourists in their prime age, probably retirees. It's okay I guess to wait out until retirement, but then there are things the you won't enjoy anymore. Like theme parks. You won't be able to try out daring rides if you already have ailments like heart disease. Or, weak bones, etc. However, I work and then I travel. I can't afford to be just traveling.

I kind of admire the life style you choose,it is really perfect.I am nwely graduated from colege, when i was a colege student i travel a lot with my roommates,as long as there is a vacation. Now though i have works for 3 monthes, i stll trave with my old friends on weekend around the city i am working now. My goal is to get family with this city i am living in.If someday i go to another city i can say loudly that i have try everything interesting in the city i once lived, and i wont regret.I totally agree with the point that we should travel when we was young,so we enjoy the fun well.

I agree with glorycam. That is what I do also. Nowadays, it would be wiser to plan ahead and look for cheap flights and accommodation and guided tours if you like. What you do is have an itinerary or plan on where you will go and what you will do months before you take the actual trip. And little by little try settling things or paying bit by bit as your departure date becomes nearer. With that method, you won't feel the burden of paying all the expenses when you are about to leave for your trip. That would sometimes cause stress at your end especially when you are traveling on a budget. It would be nice if at the start of your journey all you have to worry about is your pocket money. hehehe...

I have liked to travel all my life, but think that you travel in a different way depending on your age and health. At my age and how I feel, I could not do backpacking or camping. I need a good bed, a good bathroom and it is better if I can have at least a kitchenette as there are some foods I cannot eat. But I did camp for months when I was young and went to not too good lodgings when not so young. What I donĀ“t think at all is that you have to wait for living the way you want until you earn enough money. That moment might never come.

I wanted to travel around the world when I was 20 years old. I had enough money for my airline tickets and some spending money. I let out my cottage to get a monthly income. I also got a working holiday visa for Australia. I worked as a children's nanny, a factory packer and a charity collector. I was about to go home after six months and one of my friends said I should stay. I was having such a wonderful time ended up staying away just over one year on my trip. I had been working on a teaching contract when I was 29 years old. My contract ended in the October and in the November I went off traveling to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. I was able to stay away a few months on that trip but I came home with a heavy debt on my credit card. It took me months to pay off that large debt. My next trip was a cheap flight to Italy and camping in Croatia.

When I was in my 20's I travelled a lot. I didn't have a lot of money but I worked in other countries and that was a cheap way to visit other places. I 1999/2000 I worked in Estonia for a while and when I finished working I travelled around in the country for some weeks. When I was working in Scotland I worked 6 days a week and on my day off I visited different parts of the country. In Italy I also visited other places when I finished working. I am happy that I had the chance to travel a lot when I was young and independent. Today my situation is different, I am married, I have many pets and I have a job in my own country, so I can't travel for many months that I did in the past.

For me, I guess I would work hard and when I have enough money, go and travel with the family or friends. Coz I think if I travel when I don't have money, I wouldn't be able to be at most places and cannot travel more and would have to struggle. So yeah I'd rather earn enough money and travel

Traveling for me outside the country is a luxury. Traveling is fun because you get to see other places and meet new people. You also get to know culture of other countries. But you see, when traveling one has to have lots of money because it would be difficult running out of money with no one to go to for help. One has to bring also a credit card with him just to make sure that when he ran out of money, he can use his card. But you must have a higher credit limit. A good traveler plans his trip ahead according to his budget. He must scout for low hotel rates without sacrificing quality and also watch out for airline promos. Nowadays, many airlines reduce their rates to encourage more passengers. Traveling also during lean season is good if you are looking for lower rates.

I like travelling very much. I couldn't make large amount of money at present so usually travel near my province, which can save a lot of transportaion charges. The farthest place I've travelled is UK, which cost almost my whole year of bonous. I don't think it is wrong to work hard in youth and earn enough money to travel in old age. The point is when will you feel the money is enough? Besides, it will be much funnier to travel in youth. You may meet new people and have interested experience during the trip, which might change your whole life.
