Me wouldn't either, two world war just prove me enough. I'm just gonna blow off all the human facility using my super telekinesis power, and sent gort to every country in the planet.

i can understand how you feel, human is a weird creature... we can get smart if we are alone but if we put ourself in some community and become "people" suddenly we became stupid.

That's the NEW version of the film, which was an absolute godawful mess compared to the original 1951 version. Watch the old black and white version - it's much, much better. As for saving humanity, no - I wouldn't. We're the worst thing that's ever happened to this planet.

yes, the movie was a mess but i like the idea that someday we may faced a situation where whe had to choose between continue the way we live or change for the sake of the planet. If today i'm klaatu, i'm still not sure weather i trust human or not. Btw i hope one day i can watch the original 1951 version....

I haven't seen 1951 version The Day The Earth Stood Still but the story is about a robot from the planet klaatu who reaches the earth at the point of end of the world war 2 to take over the earth. But the robot after meeting many humans decides to let the humans save themselves. The story is kind of appealing, but I haven't seen the movie yet to give a review but if I was the robot I might also do the same ...
