How to Love?

Question How do you know wat love is? How do you know wen you are happy with yourself? How Do you know wen you love your self? If any one can give me advice please do and another question how do you over come depression?

human by nature loves themselves more than others so those cheesy guys who tells you that theyll give you anything, dont believe them haha ^,...,^ well you can feel loved when you feel happy and you feel secure whenever. on the other hand you feel in love when you cant think straight cant eat straight like your sick and you only think of that guy/girl well you know it haha you cant really explain love it's an illogical idea that resides in everyone's mind :)

I don't think most humans do love themselves more than others. Otherwise so many people wouldn't be depressed, feel lonesome and have a big lack of self esteem and need a hero to look up upon. Most people don't like to say out loud: I love myself. Those who do say it we find arrogant or selfish. But.. there is nothing wrong with being selfish. If you are not able to love yourself nobody will be able to love the real you. If you want to change the world you have to start with yourself. A few days ago I went to bed. And when I was just laying down in it I felt happy (no special reason). The happiness was there for a few minutes. If it's there you recognize it.

Love is a feeling and there are many ways to love, many people and things you can love, including yourself. Happy is a feeling too, if you are happy you will recognize it. Nobody is happy day and night and you can't feel happy if you don't know what it is to be unhappy. It's the same deep emotion. Loving yourself is difficult for most people. You can start saying that to yourself and say what you like or love about yourself. Which talents or what about your character you find loveable (it's not important what others think if it comes to this). And if it comes to depression: there are many kinds of depressions. Some are in the dna so it's a part of you. Some are caused by something or someone. The first kind of depression will be in your family and come back. That doesn't mean you can't have a good, happy life. It doesn mean you will have ups and downs through your whole life. If you had a depression before and came out of that you can tell yourself you did it that time so you can do it again. You can allow you to feel depressed/sad for sometime and feel pity for yourself. There is nothing wrong with that. Stay in bed under the blankets if you like with the curtain closed but tell yourself when you will come out of bed. I would advice you to make a schedule what to do during a depression. How long you stay in bed. When is the time to come out. What to do on these days (shower, relax, listening to a certain song, write in a diary, cry, do 3 positive things for yourself, speak to at least 2-3 different people). Write down your goal, what you want. Write down advices to encourage yourself and hang them down everywhere so you will see them. If your depression is caused by someone you have to do something extra: find the courage to admit that person did that to you and tell him/her how you feel (and don't care for the answer). If you have many depressions for a long time (weeks/months) then go visit a doctor and see if you can get some medication. Also see if you can find someone to talk to. This doesn't have to be a family/friend it also can be a stranger, internet might be able to help you with that too. It's up to you if you want to talk to people who feel the same to share experiences or if you just want someone who is listening to you if you are in need. Just give yourself a warm embrace and be proud on who you are.

Love is unexplainable but felt :)You are happy with yourself if you dont have problems and you smile at everything.Self respect means loving yourself too.IF you love yourself you love your life ( without vices and not abusing your body) I am a bit low at the moment and felt depressed but what i did is i went online and did some social networking then i went for a walk.Seeing other people will always divert our attention. Hope that all helps :)

uhmm i think when you love joy love Jesus first love Others, an then love Yourself. Then you know the meaning of true love. My teacher taught me that. But I think the best answer is in your heart. I overdcome my depression if I tried not to think anything and enjoying nature
