There were some people I knew, they just have too much pride on themselves. They won't work on inferior works which they might think it is not worth their time and work effort. Like cleaning, serving customers in fast food joint, or even delivery, etc.... I mean with economic situation like this, should we consider such pride on yourselves? What makes more money, and keep on paying the bills is the most important. Instead, those people sit their butts at home idle every single day rather than find a job to keep paying the rents. I just don't understand the mindset of those people.

Sadly I'm somewhat like that person. I really don't know what to do since in our country, finding job is difficult I tried to do some job that is not appropriate with my course but my parent won't let me do it. And for now, I'm only in the house and roaming around in different places and my life is just like a caretaker of a house. What a sad life.

these people are just too proud! i would go for those jobs even if it pay me less as long as it can sustain me temporarily. i know there are bigger opportunities so i'll grab it when it comes for the meantime i(they) should grab that chance too.

I don't understand it either. You have to make money so you have to take the work you can get sometimes.

I don't really understand that either. I have had many different jobs and of course I prefer a job that I find interesting and a job where I can use the things that I have learned, but I can't find that kind of job I always take what I can get. I have delivered newspapers, I had cleaned bathrooms and I have had other kinds of jobs that weren't exactly "dream jobs", but when I need money for my bills I can't afford to be picky. I think that a boring and monotonious job is better than no job at all.

Thankfully i have a job that fits my education, but i can understand why people with high education don't want to work the type of work you describe as "inferior works". If the person is single then he/she had the right wanting a job that fits their education, but if they have a family to feed then they sould work whatever work is available. Education is not free so they should get a job that fits their education, however if the goverment make a policy that make education is free for everyone, then if the job that fits your education doesn't available then you should take a lower level kind of job. If people with college education accept lower level job, in the future everybody will think there's no need for college education because it just wasting money. I think it's good if single people who have a college education keep unemployed until there's job that fits their education. Because with the raise of unemployed people, the goverment is forced to stimulate new jobs in every field. If people is just accept the condition, then the goverment will think that there's nothing wrong with their country. However it would be better if people with college degree to thinking about creating jobs instead of waiting for them. If you have a family then you should make some compromise by taking a lower level jobs because the survival of your family comes first.

Sadly their is people like that, and it just tears my heart their is actually people who are very pride and think they are superior than others. I read this poem 2 years ago- the point was some people forget where they come from, or they feel really superior than others. But really to god's eyes the janitor in small school it's equal to a president of a big company. People over proud themselves because they tend to believe they could have better job and they don't appreciate other jobs. I always though of it this way if your a Delivery Boy- be the best you can be. If you are a serving customer- be the best you can be. The point it's it doesn't matter what job you have but how much effort you do it and how much you appreciate it.
