Can you tell me your most memorable restaurant? I have one though I dunno if it is in the right category. hehehe... My last visit to Bangkok 2 months ago was a blast. Never imagined that there are still so many places to see and so many things to do even though I have been there already. And this one particular restaurant was stuck in my head. It is called Hajime Japanese Robot Restaurant. Not only does it serve my favorite dishes in the world but the one who or what serves them makes this restaurant unique. It is the life-size robots who are the star of the restaurant. I am so amazed how they serve it and the system that is incorporated in it. It was so impressive that I have to share it. How bout you? Any memorable restaurant or best restaurant in mind?

I would say Sunburst fried chicken in Davao. It is an all time favorite, the place does not look much but the chicken is great. The most memorable ones I've been to lately are Apartment 1B and Cookbook Kitchen. The corner stores and weekend market in bangkok (more than 2 years ago!) were also memorable more for the weirdness of the food that they serve!

Most memorable restaurant that i have been to was the korean village restaurant in Manila. My family and I used to eat there every weekend because we love the food. It is a memorable restaurant for me because that is the best family bonding we used to do.

My most memorable restaurant does not even have a name in my memory, friend. I am used to go to the best restaurants now because that´s the way my friends repay my invitations to diner at my home. But there was one time, when I was about 13, when I went to the best restaurant in the world. My parents were invited to diner and the people who had invited them told them to bring me along. They were not friends: it was an old professor of my father. So we went there, I with my best clothes, only to find that they had forgotten we were invited. My parents, politely, said to them that they were passing by and after a little while, we left. My father was never rich but he was awesome! He said he´d take his girls to a rstaurant and he did. We were served like princesses and the outing ended by going to the movies. I will never forget it.

Never went to a robot restaurant, but did find this fabulously opulent restuarant when I was in Hiroshima. It was expensive, but well worth it, if only for the view. It was on the 32 floor of a builing...a skyscrapper in Japan standards. It was snowing, so the flakes were floating past the windows. We could see Hiroshima castle all lit up. They had tons of fresh fruit, including things like grapes and strawberries that sold at market for 1700 yen a pound (about 16USD). They had veal that was to die for and of course they had all kinds of sushi. The most memorable American Restaurant is Ed Debevics...you go there just for the rude service. It is well known for its over the top performers(servers) who do stereotypes to the extreme.
