Arsenal to be relegated?

I am shocked by the poor start arsenal have had to the season 7 games played and well down the league table. I think they do not have a good squad and the back up players are no good this can be seen by the recent results. I think Arsene Wenger made a big mistake selling Nasri and not buying any more players to his side to add depth to his team. Arsenal have also been hit by injuries at the moment and I feel that the youngsters in his side will not know how to cope with the pressure the team is under from the fans and the board and I can see them crashing out of the premier league like West ham did. What do you guys think? Do you think arsene wenger should stop buying youngsters?

I agree that this is the worst start to the Arsenal season. But I actually liked some of the attacking moves in the match against Tottenham. Though they lost the match some of the usual flow was beginning to return at least moving forward. Defensively is where the maximum woes for Arsenal lies. the defense is really woeful and full of holes. Per Mertasacker looks past his best and is very slow for the fast game in England. But I am pretty sure that Arsenal is not going to get relegated and in fact Is till pick them to fight for the top 6 finish. Cheers! Ram

If a team has a bad defence then their asking for trouble as most teams with one good striker or midfielder will tear the defence apart and they will concede lots of goals. To stay up you need to have as a basis a good defence.

I have been supporting the clubs since the late 1980s. The current team and performance is one of the worst that I have seen for a long time. The run of results since the Carling Cup is appalling. If the season started then, the club will be in dire straits. Many people, fans or not, thinks that they club is too big and too rich to get relegated, but Leeds, Forest, West Ham had proven that no team is too big for relegation. The problems is not with the youngsters but the wrong choices of personnels and formation. The club has been greatly let down but some of the more senior players. In fact, I felt the younger generations, they have more fire in the belly and if I am the manager, I would be very tempted to replace the senior squad with the youngster. The club have nothing to lose now.
