We saw it this morning on our way around the city. It was outrage. This woman was walking 2 dogs and one of them got into a flower garden and pooped on one of the plants. She left it there and kept walking! My boss opened the van door and yelled at her about it. Wait, she did that AFTER the 2nd dog did the same thing a little farther down. The woman said that no, she wasn't going to pick it up, that bags were not biodegradable. I was like, that's utter bullsh!t as I have poop bags that are. The woman, the entire time she was walking down the street, was yelling at us. Cars weren't moving fast so she was able to keep up with us. My boss got on the phone and called the city asking about a city bylaw about this. There is one, and the next time we see her do this, we're supposed to call animal services and report her to them. She has 2 dogs, both unfixed males, one looks like it's been starved to death. I hope she gets what's coming to her, as my boss stepped in one of the dog's poop yesterday. We'll see what happens.

The dog is her property right? so she should clean what her dog 'left' right? Byu doint that it's like he is literally throwing trash in that place which is more unsanitary with a poop. Better report her and her actions, just walking straight after seeing her dog poop without apologizing?

Actually it was on private property, not her own property. Nonetheless, she's supposed to clean up after the dogs.

Yes. When I take liberty is bringing out my pet dog, I must do the work related to that. That woman has erred in my view. I do not have pets however. of course such a behavior is tolerated well in a few countries but it will not be in USA.

It's not tolerated where I am either. A bylaw is a bylaw and it comes with fines if it's broken.

I know that when I had a dog and would walk it, I always used a poop bag. One day I was walking my dog and had picked up his mess and the owner of one house yelled at me about letting the dog poop in his yard. I was so upset at that point that I almost poured the bag of poop in his yard, but I didn't. The next time I walked by that house the owner apologized because he had seen me picking up a mess. I hope that she does get in trouble for not picking up since that is just plain irresponsible! Happy thanksgiving!!!

Yes people should be picking up there dog crap. I have friends and family who are very good at taking the bags with them and picking there dog mess up. Where I live you are meant to clear up after yourself but people don't. We have notices up where people don't clear up and it is called a dog hot spot telling you people are not clearing up and that people are patroling to try and catch these people out. The signs are up also for the dog owners to warn them that if the are caught they can be fined a lot of money.

Oh my most of our neighborhood pet owners are very good about picking up the poop. I have seen so many of them with their baggies in hand. However, there is still that one that does not care and for this woman who said she wouldn't. Shame on her and she should not own a dog. If someone elses pet when and pooped right in front of her house I don't think she wold be very pleased. She deserves to be reported as we are are all suppose to take care of our surroundings and earth. Shame on her.

I have a box of Poopy Sacs somewhere, if I could find them, I'd take them with me. Next time we saw her, I have them thrown at her and say, "here, biodegradable b!tch". Maybe she would learn.

It's just gross. There is nothing more disgusting than scraping dog sh*t off your shoe. I agree with all the above, if you got a dog(s) then pick up poo, thus they have pooper scoopers, poo bags. were I am we too have laws and fines for such messes. People who don't pick it up are rude and lazy. If they can't/won't do it then perhaps they shouldn't have dogs.

I am glad someone is talking to her, and will be talking about her if she continues this nasty habit. We need responsible pet owners.

That drives me NUTS... I hate when people have pets and don't do what is necessary to clean up after them - indoors AND out. My niece recently had a sleepover party for her birthday. There were 8 or 9 girls and, for part of the time, they were out in front of the house taking pictures and doing some activities. They were sitting on the grass near the street and one of the girls stood up to find dog poop all over the seat of her jeans. Poor girl was so embarrassed... fortunately she had a change of clothes with her and my sister popped her jeans into the washer. Here's the thing -- my sister has THREE dogs. They built a dog run on the side of the house and that's the only place her dogs 'go'. When she walks them, she cleans up. The dog poop the girl sat in was from a neighbor's dog up the street. The owners just open the door and let the dog run free (also against city by-law) and let it mess wherever it chooses. For the record, I agree with you... that woman's nonsense about bags not being biodegradable is ridiculous. I only buy the biodegradable kind and that's all I use - and my new dog only poops in my own backyard at this point!

Wow, I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me. I personally have a dog and I don't leave the house without having at least 3 bags. Why do I do this, you ask? because my dog poops. All living things poop. However since my dog is my pet, I make certain that I am prepaired and that I ALWAYS, pick up after it. I think that the people who don't pick up after their pets, should be punished. I have a pet and I pick up after him, therefore I do not want to have to pick up after someone who is so inconsiderate that they would let their animal deficate on my property, without cleaning it up. There is NO excuse, if you go shopping you have those annoying little green bags, that take up way too much space in your house, and should be put to better use (like picking up after your pet)!

You got to hate it when some else's dog does their business right i your garden. The garden you've spent so much time, effort and money to have it perfect! In my neighborhood, I really hate how some of the homes just let their dogs out to go wander around and poop in any garden. Before this big Dog went into my front yard and did a big business right near the mail box. My Mum was so angry when she had to clean after the dogs. No one likes it when you're walking down the rod and accidentally walked on some doggy business. People should really clean after their dogs, that woman's argument was so lame, because the plastic bag was biodegradable? Why couldn't she scoop it up and bury it at least.

Yes you should have call Animal Welfare Dept. or Animal Control. This kind of people should not be tolerated. I have a dog at home and I don't let him out of our house because the guards will confiscate it and surrender to the barangay hall. And for all the pet owners out there, be responsible!
