Hi friends may I know how many of you are writing in yahoo contributor ? What are your experiences ? How are you paid ? Want to know more details from you . Thanks in advance .

I love Yahoo contributor, I've been there since it was Associated Content. While the pay is sometimes rather low, it is a great place to get experience and exposure. You can also write about a wide range of topics. They payout monthly by PayPal. Good luck!

There's one small issue mama didn't mention: they don't pay outside the US. You have to be a US resident to get paid.
There are two exceptions:
1. you have been a member of AC since before Yahoo! bought it (I still get paid because I was)
2. you are on their featured writer program (or expert system or whatever it's called - I can't remember).
In other words, new Indian signups won't get paid unless they get on the expert system thingy (and I've no idea how that works - you'd have to check the site).

I've never heard of Yahoo Contributor. I've heard of Associated Content before though. I enjoy writing and blogging, so thanks for bringing this site to my attention. I'm definitely going to look into it.

I have not been writing there at Yahoo Contributor. Writing articles and short stories is my hobby. I should take a look at Yahoo and see if I should join the Yahoo Contribuor program. Thank you for the message.

Hi Rollylolly, you are a few years too late!
Associated Content used to pay international writers for page views, but it stopped paying.
I earned about a year there, from a miserable $1.50 to a monthly ten dollars before it stopped paying.
If you are good enough to become featured contributor, then you can earn upfront and page views.
That is opened to very few people.

I have been with this site for close to three years i would say. Not sure when i started but i have loved this site for a long time. It pays great, youcan submit articles for upfront payment and hope to get paid for your article you are submitting so you can get paid more often and better too. YOu also get paid for your page views as well. I do this monthly and i also try to get my articles read from twitter and craigslist as well. It helps me out in the end of the month as well. I dont make much a month on this site as im not very active like i wish i could be because i work and when i come home im tired but there are alot of things youcan do to make money on this site.
