what can you say about this guys? i just noticed that most of our beauty queen's fall back is being an actress or tv personality, like bianca manalo, venus raj, shamcey supsup and a lot more...
ABS-CBN has been eyeing shamcey, to be a kapamilya member, starting from the Binibining Pilipinas, to the Miss Universe, wherever Shamcey is, ABS-CBN is there. and now that she is a kapamilya i hope she will do some make over segment, being an architect it will showcase here talent more.

I think Tv networks are always on the grab of those people who instantly become famous for the sake of business. Well if Miss Supsup can show off her talent, she's a great addition to the world of entertainment. I just hope she will not end up just like the others who tried but fail to leave a mark. Entertainment is a place for people who are really gifted with beauty and not just talent but extraordinary talents.

But Shamcey being a topnotch architect could always have a fall back if ever she fails. She can o some private transactions in her chosen profession after or even if she's with ABS .
However, i just don;t know with the other beauty titlists. But i hope they will really shine in showbiz too.

What's so wrong about that? It does not only happen in the Philippines. Halle Berry even won acting awards! Beauty Queens already have the basics of a tv personality, i.e. (natural) beauty and a little popularity. Also, they have poise and gracefulness, which is a good starting point for a dancer. I would prefer to watch them dancing over any of the PBB products, any day.
As for Ms. Supsup, I also think she should pursue being an architect instead of a celebrity. These days, I think the Philippines has a lot more celebrities than quality architects such as her.

Well all i know is that the ABS-CBN is tied up with the Binibining Pilipinas. think they have a contract that they will be airing it in Abs-CBN so i think that meant that the ladies also is with the contract, and i guess they all can't deny or rather not accept the offer for a chance at stardom. :D

Doing home makeovers in television will certainly help her get quick money. But if she really wants to excel in her profession, I suggest she pursue what she really studied for in college. If she can still find time in doing both then that will be most beneficial to her in the long run.

that is right, she is an architect and she is the one who makes the plan of caticlan airport. it is very good if she will prefer her own profession. she have proven herself about that already but well, i think nobody can resist showbiz, esp the high talent fee they will get from it.

I heard that she has apprehensions about entering showbiz and I understand her. In showbiz sometimes you are pressured to please everyone and even do outrageous roles for the sake of doing the work well.Not to mention, invasion of privacy.
A reality show like that is a great idea. It is cool to see a woman doing such a project. I'd also love to see her doing hosting jobs.

Well, she is enjoying her 'extended' 15 minutes of fame. I cannot fault her since she was already have a place in the limelight - it is only logical that she may want to stay a little more to get a little more fame (and money, of course) compared if she returns to her profession.
I am sure Shamcey loves being an architect but I think she is just cashing in as a Miss Universe contestant. I don't know if show business will agree with her but that is the path she is taking . I will just wish her the best, just like in Ms. Universe pageant.

Well, i think that is there only fallback. Not winning as the reigned beauty queen will be same as losing. Well, yeah, they would get the recognition but that is all there is. And being in ABS-CBN is not that bad, at least there they could really improve their talent and being a beauty queen that is all there is for them but to enter in showbusiness.
